I also went to Gamescom to finally meet Ed Boon, Todd Howard and Hideo Kojima. Long story short, they're scared for me. But I did get to play Mortal Kombat 1 before release, and I saw the line for Stalker 2. I saw a lot of things. But of course I went because I had to seize the opportunity to play Black Myth Wukong. My MOST Hyped game (after GTAVI). Now did I actually get to play it? Just watch the video bro

Sometimes I don't watch Ranton but when I do come back I forget and it's like a crazy experience every time lol. Wait you got to ay Wukong at Gamescom? Didn't know they did it but I'm jealous and I'm excited for this game, finally a good Chinese souls like and it looks amazing, might even beat some souls games I like.

I don't think people should keep calling it a souls-like, when it only has a few elements of souls games. When I played, I found that it's more similar to Nioh or God of War, but we don't call it a Nioh-like or GOW-like. Calling it a souls-like kinda detracts from how important the plot is to Wukong.

@@gediminasmorkys3589I think Dark Souls has a good balance of being able to sneak around mobs, pull them one by one to isolate them or just run away from a large pack you pulled on accident. First exploration you try to kill most of them and for a later playthrough you can just run past most of them and know where you have to kill a few for good loot or because they can gang up on you in a choke point.

@@TheHabadababa oh, Dark Souls for sure, there's the fun of clearing maps the first time through. But I don't like trash mobs in Elden Ring, for example (outside of legacy dungeons). All they are good for is getting you in combat so you can no longer use the map. If there's a way to simply run past mobs, there's the question of why the hell are they there in the first place. Running past isn't exactly fun gameplay.

@@gediminasmorkys3589 true but there are also some really nice open world encounters in Elden Ring like the Giant convoys pulling the carriages with loot in them and you can ride past the trash mobs pretty fast if you don't want to fight them.
