I went to Severn Tunnel Junction to see 2 Class 43 hsts being scrapped 27/10/21 

I have only been to seven tunnel once. While on a Bristol shed bash, we did Severn tunnel and found 9F Evening Star languishing in the bay platform I am dressing where that Bridge and Red are.

The class 150's won't be far behind as they seem to want to destroy all perfectly good revenue earning locos and dmu's lately to replace them with unreliable foreign 💩 sadly! I seen the some of the 150s being built at Derby in 1984 we will have nothing left soon to go looking at!!! Good video 😎

Very interesting video with a good mix of trains. That said, the title at first made me think we were going to see the actual scrapping.

End of and era.... the 47 hauling them won't far behind them to the scrap yard... sad.

Considering they were and probably still are fully operational - it's absolutely wasteful to scrap a 125mph locomotive rather than store it for future use. It's just down to greedy companies not wanting to pay for storage.
