I went to high school in West Covina when “Good Burger” was filmed. The “Good Burger” restaurant has always been “El Loco”. The Movie studio rented out the restaurant. The restaurant was always outdoor seating but was converted to indoor for the movie. They shot there for about a month. The shopping center across the street was pretty much brand new so the movie studio was able to construct anything they wanted since no other businesses were occupying spaces in that shopping center.

@@art23428you do realize a ton of people live in LA County, right? I was also in high school when this movie was being filmed and I was local. Driving around was a bitch because so many streets were closed to the public during filming.

I was in high school when this movie was filmed. I remember so many streets that were closed off during filming. I had no idea the location for the restaurants was in West Covina. 😅 i live in Arcadia, so i should go visit this spot soon. It's shocking that this restaurant hasn't taken advantage of the Good Butger legacy. They'd garner way more vistors that way. I'm happy to see more kid-at-heart millennials like me. 😀 You guys are refreshing to watch. Maybe I'll run into you at some point. Come to the Whole Foods in Hastings Ranch Pasadena and we can geek out on 80s and 90s nostalgia. 🤘
