We have lots of Turkish people here in the Netherlands and they were so wholesome! They were all like "normally we honk our car horns when we win but now we honk because you won!" and I love that.

Yeah, me too got that feeling. Using "Türkiye" and not "Turkey" like all other participants using the English translation of their country name. The Dutch also used "Netherlands" like she did. But for "Turkey" she (and MSM) say "Türkiye". To me it would be more like an insult, like we do not speak and understand English. But it only shows to me that Türkiye is and was never part of Europe. Even the Eastern European countries are using the English name.
