Great question - there are a number of jumps that got me - and depending on their age they may find some of the ghosts or one or two scenes scary/tense - really depends on their age and tolerance. This is totally a family movie - the scares are matched by the comedy and action. My kids have all had different things that they find frighting or worrying as they grew up so it's very individual. Is it the scarcest? It's up there but on a par with some of the scary moments in the others - bath tub eating the baby, Vego/demon, library ghost jump - there is one image early on that is scarier than any other scene I can think of - think Jurassic Park 2 - the boat trashed by the t-rex :)

You might be happy 😉 I was so excited and exhausted I might be remembering it wrong - but I’m sure it lands in the same type of spot… intro ‘story’, logo - Into the film

I also think afterlife was a very different film. This in the same space as the OG film with mix of comedy, scares and action- and the OG’s are very much part of the story!

It’s weird to me that everyone keeps dodging this question. It’s not like we’re comparing Oppenheimer to Barbie… it’s 2 Ghostbusters movies. They both have ghosts and they both have busting. It’s ok to pick one with the qualification that your opinion may change on subsequent viewings. Was it in the NDA not to say?

@@PennyEatsPoop Nope - no NDA, I signed nothing, it's just hard to compare them - you will see when you watch it. One is smaller in scope and not in NYC very, very different feel. This is NYC, more of the OG's they are not just playing cameos. This is more the next move for the OG's handing the torch/working together with the new cast.

@@ExperienceExplorers I'm watching it on Saturday. I'm half excited, half anxious. To me the film looks bloated, with too many characters. Also, I just don't have much faith in Gil Kenan or Jason Reitman as writers.

Yeah I get it - I wasn’t so worried as I really like their work. But we all have different tastes and that’s a good thing 😊

@@ExperienceExplorers I saw Ghostbusters in the cinema back in 1984 which I loved, Ghostbusters 2 back in 1989 which I was disappointed by and Ghostbusters Afterlife at the UK premiere, which I was again disappointed by. For me, the only good Ghostbusters film is the original. I really want Frozen Empire is be great but looking at the sequels we've had, my expectations aren't high.
