There's a Hadeeth that translates to "Islam started strange and it will return strange like it was before". Some say it was not the Halloween, but an event of horror called the Horror Weekend. But I'm not sure about the truth behind it. I'm a Saudi Muslim from Makkah. The sanctuary/holy borders are around here. Riyadh is a little far from here, like maybe 1000 km. I hope at least such controversies don't pass the holy borders to here. I want the sanctuary to be left alone.
Hadith on Najd [English below]! حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ ذَكَرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي شَأْمِنَا، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي يَمَنِنَا ". قَالُوا وَفِي نَجْدِنَا. قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي شَأْمِنَا، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي يَمَنِنَا ". قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَفِي نَجْدِنَا فَأَظُنُّهُ قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةَ " هُنَاكَ الزَّلاَزِلُ وَالْفِتَنُ، وَبِهَا يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ ". Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen." The People said, "And also on our Najd." He said, "O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Sham (north)! O Allah! Bestow Your blessings on our Yemen." The people said, "O Allah's Apostle! And also on our Najd." I think the third time the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There (in Najd) is the place of earthquakes and afflictions and from there comes out the side of the head of Satan." Assalamualaikum Maliki... Islam has the tendency to flow to the righteous people. And with what you shared, I am pushed to think that perhaps Islam will leave the wrongdoers and will embrace the righteous ones wherever they live. Despite being an Arab, a wrongdoer will eventually leave Islam. Despite living in western countries, a righteous person will embrace Islam.

I once heard a hadith that said that the country of Saudi Arabia would return to the dark ages/ jahiliah and that was a sign that the end of the world was near.
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: You would tread the same path as was trodden by those before you inch by inch and step by step so much so that if they had entered into the hole of the lizard, you would follow them in this also. There is a Hadith that narrates that Islam would be become strange and blessings to those who would recognize Islam. Sadly this is what happening in almost every Muslim country. Then if the late king Abdul Aziz had been alive he would have lashed his grandson and this turki alshaikh for bringing pagan festivals in the Muslim country. Also as I have read history the fall of Muslim regimes started by them walking away from Islam for the sake of this fatal world. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The flourishing state of Jerusalem will be when Yathrib is in ruins, the ruined state of Yathrib will be when the great war comes, the outbreak of the great war will be at the conquest of Constantinople and the conquest of Constantinople when the Dajjal (Antichrist) comes forth.

Habibi, the Arabs will vanish in the coming great war. No one will replace anyone. There are tons of Arabs who are incredible, too. Don't think of Saudis as the only Arabs. Many of them are not even indigenous. Rather, they have Indian and Asian roots. Many Arabs left Arabia centuries ago and settled in the Middle East like in Iraq, Syria, Jordan, and Palestine. You can find many in North Africa, too.
