Stardust Assault Mode was pretty good in old 5Ds era decks that could turbo out Stardust, problem is consistency. Try it in Dragunity in Tengu Plant. The end phase looping comes up if you can land Stardust Assault on the board

@@nonifuji1566 That strat was turbo underrated. Stardust Assault mode was literally exodia, it was fucking completely unbeatable when it summoned lmao. And you could summon it turn 1 like 20% of the time and just autowin, then the other 80% you still had a real chance to summon it and autowin. Just needed a way to not get destroyed with dogshit draws like drawing the assault mode or drawing the assault mode activate instead of an assault beast etc. But even drawing the SD:AM wasn't an insta-loss because you were basically just playing a level 8 synchro turbo deck at that point, which can still win pretty if you're ending on a stardust + dark end or some shit.

I think this fits well enough with the spirit of the theme.. In the World Championship game at least, each of the Dark Signers had a complete deck that utilized just one of the available Earthbound Immortals, so you essentially built an updated Evil Boss Deck for the fishy one..

The whole point is to make it competitive whilst sticking soth the fundamental aspect of the deck. Keep doing the way you are as its a series to make these decks work. Using engines is never wrong

I remember back in the day when the first Earthbounds got released in the TCG, one of vendors I normally, and still, frecuent, told me there was a way to make them work and it was a very solid deck, combine the whale (Boomer) and the bird (Carly) in a zombie type deck. Believe it or not, IT ACTUALLY WORKED... for the time it was made, during the 5D's era

@@Reedd960 I don't remember this list a lot since it was a LONG time ago. The only cards I remember are the whale and the bird, and lots of cards from the Zombie World structure deck, including the field spell, Zombie Master. Ill Budd and Mezuki, I don't remember the rest, maybe some were staples of that era... maybe a terraforming to search Zombie World.

If you want to try playing with more of the Earthbound ED monsters (gryphon, geo-grasha) you can use Kaiser Vorse Raiders (level 5 dark fiend inherent special) and the Edge Imp/frightfur package. Can also play 1 Harr/boss stage for the search off Kraken to add a negate to the end board

Red-Eyes, Summoned Skull, and Slifer would all be cool to see. Loved all those monsters when i was a kid. Would be amazing to see what you could do to them to make them work.

it was really fun to see you pop off with a deck with such a high-skill ceiling. Some of the other premises of these challenges get me to click right away but I end up getting a bit bored as the decks are simple and linear. This one had me super impressed. Please don't be afraid to make these gimmicky ideas as powerful and dynamic as this.

Summoning both Baronne and a big Kraken from 1 Fusion looked pretty awesome, they should do something like that with Rituals next. This would kinda fix the issue strategies that don't just link spam have.

FWIW Earthbound Prisoner Line Walker can actually add both EB Prison and Harm-Synch fusion from grave, so milling them doesn't negatively affect you at all. (Beyond being a dead mill)

@@jackryderproductions1030 the thing with Branded Slifer is it can for sure get out Slifer consistently, but it feels like you're simply just doing suboptimal Branded lines and the deck doesn't get to the trap aside from hard opening it

Really upset me as someone who was playing as pure of an Earthbound Immortal deck as one could since their release. Originally just doing the Zombie/Mausoleum Beats. Moving into the Lair of Darkness (since Ahrima is a searcher for a field spell or Immortal and Uru is Econ). And then Linewalker + the field spell just did NOTHING for the Immortals other than slot them as bricks into Synchro-decks.

I love this video so much man, when Ebound support was announced I went into the lab to test out different builds and found Ebound, tear with a bit of danger was the most consistant and everyone told me runick was better. I take this deck to locals for fun and just happy to see this build being played by someone who knows more.

Would love to see your take on exodia. My favorite way to play it rn is with Tear, Paleo, and Horus, where you mill the arms and legs and then add them to hand with rollback + backup soldier

I made them meta once apon a time combining Earthbound Immortals, (mainly Hummingbird and orca) with gear town, Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon, and Harden Armed Dragon, making an Earthbound Immortal that needed NO FIELD SPELL on the field during lightsworn, glad beast, blackwing era

I played Earthbound Resonator for a bit, and boy was that fun. Just keep making a bunch of giant idiots that either nuke, burn or both. Wasn't amazing against top decks, but you could sack wins with it often enough that it still felt good.

Wasn't there an earthbound immortal that just dealt 3k on normal summon or am i misremembering something Edit: Now i remember, there is a line using garden rose maiden and black garden to summon tokens on the opponents board then use the bird earthbound to pop them all for 3200.

There are two Earthbound Immortals that tribute for costs so I tried them out in a Lair of Darkness Deck. For one I can use my opponents creatures for the tribute fodder and second as Lair is a Field Spell my Earthbound stay.

I've always wanted to see a combo using libromancer's first appearance infinite ritual effect with Lich Lord, King of the Underworld as infinite ritual material. Maybe that's more of a team sam channel combo loop though lol, no idea how you turn that into a deck

When they were first revealed, i have no idea why people expected the earthbound prisoners to support the old earthbound immortals, considering they're a different archetype played by a different character from a different show. Any support for the old cards in this case is, at best, optional.

I think Ringowurm might be better than plague, maybe even assault synchron if you really want the dark or hop ear squadron for funny surprise accel synchro to dodge targeted interaction trying to break your board. LMAO The NS plague + Harmonic Synchro Fusion actually came up 🤯

Jesse you should do a vorseraider deck with the normal monster's and the effect monsters even the xyz monster , Evilswarm Nightmare since he is a vorse radier monster too.
