I was taken aback when I read this news. The proposed bill speaks volume of what our political class have in store for us, the masses. You want to force the national anthem on me when after looking back I can't find what this country has done for me. You want us to be loyal to a country that is systematically structured by the elites to be disloyal to its citizens. I haven't learnt the new anthem and I am not moved to learn it and no law maker can force it on me. Concerning the wicked and oppressive bill, it shall not stand neither shall it come to pass.

Good points, hence we need more discussions on how to get good people into these seats. It all comes back to a suggestion I've been making, we need to create a new political party. This is not to say that there are not good people in other parties, but a new party would make things easier when people are trying to fight and defend their votes.
Another big problem we have in Nigeria is the security agencies for protecting this criminals when it comes to put things in other in Nigeria; as if it's well with them too.
