Here is a review of the Day41 by Code 41, one of the most transparent brands out there. They tell you all: origin of all components, price, margin... . ⭐HERE are the links to buy this watch: code41.com/fr/...
The watch industry is very shady, most watch brands do not tell you who design their watches, where the materials come from, who manufacture them, etc., and I feel glad to see that this is slowly starting to change. Code 41, Möels and Co. and some other new brands are fully transparent when it comes to their supply chain and pricing policy putting major brands to shame.
Totally, this transparency is much needed in the industry. People also need to know the truth about labels, especially in this time where they are such a sale argument
Good review! I assume the company is claiming the watch cost around $430 to manufacture? Then, the consumer is going to pay $1500 for the watch? No thanks. Great business model for them. I would say that this watch is not worth $1500. $800 would be a stretch.
Sternglas does something similiar. They also explain their whole vallue chain. Which I really appreciate. Honestly I have no problif some parts or manufacture services does come from China. Everything depends on the price.
