Sounds amazing!! I wanted a Bogner so much in the 90s and early 2ks that one of the first presets I made when I got my FM3 was a Shiva in A, Blue Modern in B, Red Modern in C and Uber in D!
With all the Amps. and Cabs. in the Fractal verse, no wonder someone could miss some. Really surprised there is not ONE MAGNATONE in the whole bunch, it is such a great amp. and no one has modelled the unique VIRASTOR Pitch shift Vibrato. Now I have been told if you open a pitch block and put the Level and or the Mix control to FULL it will pitch pulse your note/Chords.

I liked the opening track, amazing playing as always. There is just something off about Fractal or really any of these amp/cab modelers. It’s probably just me but they all seem to have this harsh “Fizzy” sound to them especially as the gain goes up. Can any one comment on personal experience if Fractal products don’t sound this way in person either in a studio or at a live gig? I plugged my headphones directly into my computer for the best sound quality so maybe it’s just RU-vid.
I’ll say “ditto” on the fuzz comment. Struggled a lot with it on AX8 and now FM9. Two things: in a recording environment through monitors the fractal is pretty identical to what a mic’d cab would sound like, although mic placement isn’t always right, so the Dynacab feature is useful. Second thing is the “amp in the room”. Playing direct into PA does not move air the way an amp does, which is why I and many others will run the fractal through an amp on stage, and send direct to PA. As far as settings go, you need to add a parametric block and notch 6k and sometimes also 3k, and in the cab block roll low cut to 80hertz and high cut to between 5.5k and 6k. No complaints from FOH, but it’s a little nutty I’m using a huge Mesa tube power amp and cabs on stage. Even Hetfield runs through a Matrix amp and Boogie can on stage.
