Hugs, Rachel. I lost my 14 yr old Catahoula to lymphoma. I only had 2 weeks after he was diagnosed. If there’s a bright side to this, it’s that they don’t suffer through a long, drawn out painful battle. I was at least very thankful for that. Our hearts are with you. ❤

Sad to hear the news. What an epic dog, I always loved to see his behavior, chill around people and farm animals and yet protective of puppies from the large soaring birds. He has a real genuine intelligence that will be passed along in his gene pool. Hope you are doing ok, this part of owning dogs never gets easy.

Oh Rachel ....I'm so so sorry to hear this ....I can tell how hard it is for you cause he's your furbaby .....I'm so sorry that you are going through this 💔💔 My little one had osteosarcoma last year in his right leg so made the descision to amputate ......they gave him 6 months but a year on I still have him .Watching him now though I feel as though his time is coming .Same as you can see with Preacher . Sending you all the biggest of hugs I have watched your channel since you first started with Preacher & Cashmere and have followed your journey. He's had a great life with you and will remain in everyone's hearts forever. When the time comes we will mourn with you .Tears running down my face at your heartbreak . I've been watching on and off for years and enjoyed watching Preacher; he's a beautiful dog. It's sometimes debatable whether the pain of losing your dog is worth the happiness of owning him, but ultimately it is. When he does go, he will have left a lasting legacy ♥

I am so very sorry Rachel, Preacher has always and forever been my favorite. Love him as long as his quality of life is good. Went through this with a dog that had melanoma, the vet told me she'd let me know when it was time for her to leave us, she did!
