Freeze shaman is a real shame imo. It was a really innovative idea. The designer thought out of the box and created a deck that 1) didn't look like anything shaman had before 2) introduced a control oriented approach to the game, something shaman literally never had. He and Hunter have never been anywhere beyond mid-range tempo since launch. And for a good reason, I don't mind that, like I don't mind priest never having a viable aggro deck. It's the class' indentity so it's fine. But still, freeze shaman looked so interesting! In the end, there were too many bad and mediocre freeze related cards to pull out a deck... You won't see freeze shaman synergy even in arena. Maybe if Thrall's DK was related somehow instead of "roll a dice for each of your minions" and maybe if Moorabi wasn't such a synergy starving card (for instance, in addition to his text, he could also have Freeze elemental's or Brrloc's text added) Freeze shaman could have been at least a cool meme deck...
