Initially I was so obsessed with learning English .Oneday I was reading an English newspaper in train...one copassenger asked me,"why are you so reluctant about bengali (my native language)" Then i instinctively replied,"bengali,my foot".it was pretty supercilious and everyone were glaring at me with contempt...😂😂

I think that here in Brazil someone who actually wants to learn english, a person who really WANTS!! This person eventually will needs to do at least 70% or more of the work alone. Specially if the person is poor, because we have an educational system that doens´t help much, especially with foreign languages. Our population in a mainstream way, also doesn´t practise the english with the frequency that requires to be a good speaker of the language.
