Salamat Howie. I've read about the story of Manila Men at Broome. Touching and sad but happy that we have a Thomas Bay at Australia named after a Filpino.

Recognition and respect for his ancestor is never late for this guy and his family. The way he showed it is something we can all learn from. You can feel it in his words and actions. Your grandfather must be very proud of you and your family!

@theobuniel9643
@theobuniel9643 Год назад
@@rinnelolivares5498Actually, by the 1890s, hindi pa gaanong mayaman ang Japan, at papausbong pa lang sila nun. And at the same time, hinikayat ng gobyerno ng Japan na manirahan at magtrabaho sa ibang bansa ang kanilang mga mamamayan para lumago ang ekonomiya, which is why marami ring Japanese communities sa South America.

Most of them are Crews of Spanish Galleons during Manila-Acapulco galleon trade.. most of them Jumped ships when they reached Mexico and run away from the Spanish Masters into the Swamps of St. Malo Area. just one of the many article you can find on the net lagniappenola.wordpress.com/2013/05/28/san-malos-maroons-and-manilamen-in-louisiana-part-two/
