Sulu Royal family came from the Bolkiah family like Sultan Jamalul alam II the last sultan of Sulu was the son of Sultan Aquimuddin of Brunei then he was enthroned as Sultan of Brunei.. and prior to that sultan.abdol Momin of Brunei first leased Sabah to the BNBC then his descendant Sultan Jamalul alam I and II also renewed the leased agreement to the same lessor BNBC, and his grandson now Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah is the heir and owner of Sabah… Just don't listen to the fake heirs or fake sultan or self proclaimed sultan from Philippines because they are spoilers and scammers. Sabah belongs to Malaysia not Philippines. The former Presidents of the Philippines Ferdinand E. Marcos, Corazon C. Aquino, Fidel Ramos, Benigno Aquino III and others already drop the Sabah claim and surrendered its claim already since 1970s after UN court ruled Sabah belongs to the Sultan of Brunei. The Sultan of Brunei gave Sabahans chance to join Malaysia in 1966 referendum since Brunei did not join the Federation of Malaysia instead chose to be separated. Philippines failed to present evidence to the UN court such as cessation agreement, it is one of the best evidence for a Nation to claim a certain territory. This case was brought by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah before the UN Court over his territorial rights over Sulu after the U.S. invaded Sulu and never gave Sulu back to the Sultan of Brunei instead the U.S. Illegally annexed Sulu to the Philippines without the consent or in the absence of a cessation agreement from the Sultan of Brunei. The UN court has favored the Sultan of Brunei and obligated the Philippines to return Sulu to the Sultan of Brunei. No more legit sultan in Sulu today. So be careful of these people claiming to be an heir. They scam people and make them believe of their stories and lies and they are very good in it. 😆

A King with No Kingdom. Priceless documentary. His soul is now dancing in heaven now that his great effort to bring back his rights and entitlement about Sabah paid off. $15 billion dollars is not enough for the effort, pains and sufferings of this Sultan/King of Sulu and his Family. He's right, before we were called Philippines 🇵🇭 they already existed. Colonizations did these to us. How many more of our Datus/Kings that were stripped off of their lands, rights and titles? These European colonizers owe us an Apology and compensations for All the heartaches and looting they have done to many of our Kingdoms in the Philippine islands. The unknown Datu in Butuan city only his golden sash and golds were found. The name and the families were gone or became just like any of us. Reminds me of a native American movie Geronimo and the many Chiefs they have that were stripped of their titles and land. With regards to Sultan Kiram justice is served. May our brothers in Malaysia act like a decent society and return all they took from these families of Sultanate. This Sultan is highly educated and know exactly what He's talking about. As like a comment from a more rational and open-minded Filipino netizen who said that most Filipino netizen were like "counting chicken before the eggs hatch". Latest news in June 2023: 1. June 6th - Paris Court of Appeal had set aside and annulled the previous Paris Court lower court ruling awarding the heirs of the defunct Sulu Sultanate. 2. June 27th - Dutch Court of Appeal had dismissed a bid by eight descendants of former Sultan of Sulu to enforce the arbitration award and attempt to seize Malaysian assets, following the Paris Court of Appeal decision. Mean while in Luxembourg, a second attempt to seize Malaysian Petronas assets had been filed by Sulus after the first attempt was dismissed by the court. This will likely be dismissed too following the Paris Court of Appeal decision.

(continue) Paris Court of Appeal also imposed on Sulu €100,000.00 (Euro currency) to be paid to Malaysia as legal cost. Malaysia had spent RM32m (about USD 7m) to deal with Sulu Sultanate claim. Malaysia is taking steps to sue Sulu for this.

Sulu's attempt to seize Malaysian Petronas assets in Luxembourg Court was due for hearing in September 2023. Now is already January 2024 and still no news about Sulu's claim proceeding in Luxembourg. It looked like they withdrew their case when they acknowledged the Paris Court of Appeal decision.

Now is 2023 and if you know the latest news about Sulu's claim on Sabah, it will not only move your heart but it will make you cry. Latest news as in June 2023. 1. June 6th - Paris Court of Appeal had set aside and annulled the previous Paris Court (lower court) ruling awarding the heirs of the defunct Sulu Sultanate. 2. June 27th - Dutch Court of Appeal had dismissed a bid by Sulu to enforce the arbitration award and dismissed attempt to seize Malaysian assets following the Paris Court of Appeal decision. 3. Paris Court of Appeal also imposed on Sulu €100,000.00 (Euro currency) to be paid to Malaysia as legal cost. 4. Mean while in Luxembourg, a second attempt to seize Malaysian Petronas assets had been filed in Luxembourg Court due for hearing in September 2023 after the first attempt was dismissed. This will likely be dismissed too following the Paris Court of Appeal decision. Malaysian government had spent RM32m to deal with these cases brought by Sulu, equivalent to US$6.6m. Malaysia will sue them for this.

Sulu finally lost in various courts of appeal and failed to get the US$14.92B compensation and faito seizeMalaysianassets. Instead Sulu has to pay Malaysia €100,000 as legal cost imposed by Paris Court of Appeal. The Spanish Arbitrator Gonzalo Stampa's action of bringing the Sulu claim case in Paris Court when Madrid Court had already made decision in favour of Malaysia was seen by Spanish judicial authority as "Contempt of Court" and "Professional Intrusiveness". Following this, Stampa's appointment as an Arbitrator was revoked and annulled by Spanish Court. His arbitration award to Sulu of US$14.92B compensation was also annulled. Criminal proceeding was also taken against Stampa. Sulu and Stampa tried to appeal in higher Spanish courts but failed. And finally Spanish Constitutional Court upheld lower courts' decisions revoking Stampa's appoinment as an arbitrator and annulling his arbitration on Sulu's claim. On 11 December the rogue Arbitrator Gonzalo Stampa was charged in Madrid Court for "Contempt of Court" and "Professional Intrusiveness". On 8 January 2024, the court found him guilty and was sentence for 6 months imprisonment together with a ban from practicing as an Arbitrator for a year.

I still watch this clip over and over, even though I was able to watch it on TV.. Nakakaantig talaga ng puso, how strong they are. Ilang beses nako naiyak dito sa documentary report ni Ms. Sandra. Nakakainspire yung buong family, especially their King Datu's wife and him and their children. I would love my kids to watch this clip that's why I've been keeping this. Allah bless the whole family and the whole nation.

Congratulations for what? Sulu lost in various courts of appeal and failed to get the USD14.92B compensation. Instead Sulu has to pay Malaysia €100,000 as legal cost imposed by Paris Court of Appeal.

They should include this history in our national educational textbook specially in public and private schools. So that our young Filipino generation well open their minds and heart to our history. And learn that we are not discovered by Spain as we all know right now. We already have our own civilization, government and economic policy and wealthiest countries at that time. Everything was changed because of so many countries invade and destroyed our country. And almost totally erase our own history and real identity as Filipino people. We need to support our ancestors and different tribes also part of our country as Filipino’s.

Share ko lang, ang natutunan ko noon sa Phil. History class namin ay pag-aari nga ng Sultan ng Sulu ang North Borneo a.k.a. Sabah at ni-lease sa British. Sinamantala ng Malaysia, inagaw nila inangkin nila, tadong British pinaboran sila. Nung babawiin ni Pres. Marcos , ibinunyag ni Ninoy. Kaya napurnada dahil nalaman ng Malaysia ang balak ni Marcos. Ito'y mga impormasyong nakuha ko lang sa classroom, kung may mali, pasensya na po. Pero yung tungkol ke Ninoy, sa kanyang pagbunyag ng plano ni Marcos na bawiin noon ang Sabah, para sa akin, mukhang totoo. Pruweba ay ang di pagsuporta ng anak niyang si Noynoy sa mga Kiram para bawiin ang Sabah nung siya ang pangulo ng bansa natin, dagdag pa, kaibigan pala niya ang sultan ng malaysia.

Spanish didn't colonize Sultanate of Sulu because they recognized it as a sovereign state. They only established a garrison in Zamboanga with the consent of the sultan. It was the United States that colonized the Sulu Archipelago, then later gave it to the Philippines.

This is so heart breaking!! they are the first Filipinos in this land, they were here first before us of course they are filipinos!!they are the purest of the pure! and to the malaysians and aquino gov what else proof do you want his blood tells us his the sultan's royal blood!! they'res the agreement and all the papers that you needed was there, then why did the gov sold them out like that? i was on tears watching this you dont need to be a muslim to feel heart broken this is our fellow pinoys they are our brothers and sisters and have had lived a tough life yet the only help that was asked for Aquino to say that he stands him and that he believes him and tell the whole world of our history with the sultans...But what did the late pres do? he sold him out coz he doesnt care for our fellow citizens nor our histories, this is pretty deep its in our history itself about sultans royalty... Why coz he doesn't have anything to offer the government? I bet it was!!! They already took his golds and everything he had why do they still want his land it was his it was given to him through an agreement to help the malaysians I dont understand it why did they do that?

Everything has a solution, North Borneo or Sabah can still be claim., by pressuring the Malaysian to settle this to ICJ court., if the Malaysian will not comply or adhere to the Manila Accord 1963., then Philippine Gov't must never STOP claiming this land using the best diplomatic ways, 1. Get the attention of all Muslim Countries, Organization of Islams all over the world., to get help and support to come out with a better solutions. 2. Talk and keep talking to the Malaysian Gov't to have a win win solution for both sides., either recognize the Sultan of Sulu and Philippines as the real owner and Increase the RENTAL payment to Hundreds of millions or Billions plus dollars a year ++.. 3. Time is very essential here because Philippines is losing billions of revenues and incomes from North Borneo for more than 50 years. 4. Pressure the Philippine Gov't not to put this Sabah issue aside or as back burner issue Filipinos has so many Legal basis and documents to prove and show to UN court., that North Borneo can not be included as part of Malaysian Federation. if Singapore got independence in 1965. So the Sarawak people and the people of Sabah can also have and independence through legal and correct self-determination but recognizing the Sultan of Sulu and the filipinos as the proprietary owner of this land. 5.Consider the Cobold Commission as null and void because the Sultan of sulu Family and the Representative of the Philippine Government was not included as part of SIGNATORIES during the Self determination of the people in sabah in 1962-63. it was just a survey and not the official result. 6. Survey with conspiracies between UK and Malaysian officials is considered as null and void. 6. Always remember that Philippines have laws Republic Acts 5446, 9522, which includes North Borneo as Philippine Territory, Memorandum Circular no. 162., Manila Accord 1963., the Yearly Payment of Malaysian for the Rent amounting 5,300+- malaysian ringgit being received by the Kiram Family. 7. The word PAJAK means LEASED. not ceded. it is time to correct what is wrong 8. Businessmen and any malaysians living there can stay in Sabah as long as they recognized it as Philippine territory. It is time Malaysia to Face ICJ.

Aris Maliones kun Malaysia lang, kaya natin sakupin yan, kaso nagtatago yan sa salawal ng UK at US, pati ata Saudi o Iran not sure which. kaya approve ako sa Independent foreign policy ng gobyerno ngayon, mismong allies natin tinatraydor tayu, anu mapapala mu sa kabulukan na ganyan! kaya dapat lumakas ang bansa natin, para Malaysia mismo magbalik ng Sabah.
