Possible outcomes if Pence makes the opposite decision: the fake electors are counted and complete chaos ensues with a dictator in the White House and millions of people protesting in the streets, does the military chain of command continue to follow Trump or the duly elected president, does Trump then have to be physically removed from office (legally or by force), and does the US devolve into a civil war. So yeah. Pence deserves credit and history will properly credit his role in saving democracy.
Why in the world though, all her policies are Republican and she agreed with what Trump did most of the time. Those would be dumb voters. Though there may be a lot of quiet moderate Republicans who would vote for her who don't like Donald Trump because they think he's dangerous to the democracy. She could definitely tank Trump's win just by running as an Independent 3rd. They'd be like you know what, if you believe in the Constitution then better take a chance on a Democrat win than a dictator. I think when it comes down to it most Americans respect a good fight but they are nervous about people backing a candidate refusing to concede by armed insurrection and crowds chanting to hang people, especially after votes are counted and both the electoral college AND the judiciary certify an election. Cheney is still a staunchly conservative politician. She only broke from Trump, when he attempted to stage a coup, and overthrow the government coming in. As DeSantis still respects the Constitution, I doubt she'd leave her party over him.
Interesting, but a bit of a softball interview. Would have liked him to press her in more depth on that first impeachment. I listened to the evidence and Trump sounded as guilty as hell to me. Hill and Vindmann were pretty compelling just on their own. And the last few years haven’t demonstrated “a lot of political courage”. Maybe a new law should be enacted prior to allowing anyone to run for office. I think it’s should be a minimum requirement for people running for office to be able to pass the Citizenship test as a minimum. IMHO, people who also should be prosecuted are those who knew what was going on while it was happening, but kept quiet until it was over so they could sell a book about it.
In my not-so-humble opinion, everyone who knew about it helped, or participated in it that took an oath of office should be executed, killed taken out however you want to say it. I don't like having domestic enemies in government there's just something weird about that. 14th amendment section 3 shall suffer death.

this is a good interview and i, a democrat, am grateful for liz cheney and adam kinzinger.i liked her line, 'lose it like liz.' not sure if i've ever heard her laugh before this. so, although i am grateful, i can't help but think republicans don't want donald trump to be a dictator. but, they aren't opposed to the idea of a dictatorship, just not trump.
Just be careful though. Liz went on the right path but she still voted on trumps bad policies 90 percent of the time. And she would have continued keeping her mouth shut if 1/6 never happened.
Liz Cheney presents well and has definitely shown integrity, however, her father was one of the worst ever and she still holds with deplorable conservative views!

Are people in Denmark so desperate for heroes that they look for them in the U.S. Congress? Its time for other countries to take the lead for their own people.
I vehemently disagree with conservative politics. However, I do respect the hell out of Liz Cheney's integrity and courage on this matter these last couple of years.
