Because what happened to me was wrong
This movie deserved so much better, if you haven't give a try to "The Last Duel", you won't be disappointed… Jodies was amazing obviously but also the others were quite good. The story itself is compelling and Marguerite herself must have been an amazingly strong and courageous woman in real life

Finally, a artfully done edit showing the pain and shame of rape.. most importantly, the courage of Marguerrite ! Jodie Comer portrays Marguerrite with a phenomenal performance that was ignored by Hollywood..

I've seen this song used in so many videos before, but I don't think it fits anybody better than Marguerite

Yes it does! The movie narrates the real story of a trial for rape at the end of the 1300 in France. The victim went through public humiliation and risked to be burned alive but she never gave up and at least ended up quite rich, living more than 30 years happily with her children and with no husband ruling over her.

It’s worth watching. It kind of makes me sad that this movie was quite unsuccessful. It deserved better 💪🏻

@@hellokafkiana well I hopefully as time goes on, I hope this movie will become a hidden gem and hopefully will become successful by it’s re-release in the future, like The Wizard Of Oz did by it’s 10 year anniversary
