the City's horn section us definitely gonna make me pull my trumpet back out to start back practicing, please keep the videos coming for a church band to be like this is amazing, I've been streaming the City for the last 6 years every Sunday and Wednesday and to hear good solid music like this for the past 6 years is awesome
Love this band. Been trying to learn the bass line to the first son. The drummer had the pocket locked. Especially on the first tune. I like how on the first time you see, the bass player and auxiliary keyboard player dropped down to basics to let the horm section shine through.
The drummer is not staying in the pocket. He’s all over the place. Changing the tempo up and down. Putting too many fills in everywhere. The bass player is sick. He’s on it.
The original band that played killed this! The drummer overplays a lot. Chris Johnson I believe played on the original video and he let the song breathe. This dude overplays in almost all of the videos since he started there
