All in is the only size on the river with Q9. It's only about a 60% raise. Calling the flop is great. You're multiway, getting an amazing price to call to your draws, and you block all possible bluffs.

When you're up do you plat tighter or lose? Played the other night and got up really good then lost it all after being card dead for hours and running into a flush over flush situation. Interested in how you play changes when you are up. I feel like once im up i play to tight and it gets me in trouble

Awkward Casino moments have eluded me since I live in Dallas and we have card clubs. But I have had quite a few awkward moments there. Most recently being between 2 guys that got in a fight at the table. I'm 6'3" 300 lbs so it was awkward for me because I wasn't sure if I was supposed to stop them or just let them get after it since I don't know either of them. 😂

A5cc @1:00 .. you could bet 6k at the end to rep Tx and put pressure on 3x. Depends on how often he raises 3x on the flop and/or Tx and then check backs Turn with Tx. Does seem rare. 150% pot seems good on river. Edit: nevermind. Your Tx range is pretty limited. Like maybe ATs, JTs and perhaps some KTs/QTs. If you flat preflop, you have a ton of Tx in your hand (T9o+, T8s+ along with most likely T6s/T7s and T8o as well). Seems like a fine give up. 3-betting the flop is also a consideration if you would 3-bet with JJ+ Although even if you did flat the raise on the flop with JJ+ (not absurd to think that), I could see leading river for a decent bet (35-50%) with those hands on the river for value hoping to get called by 3x, 44-99. Definitely an interesting spot and no idea of your opponent and how he plays but would think that if you led river for 40% pot, you would get looked up more times than not and making that a worse play than a check/give-up here (although if he bet, it's an interesting spot since he didn't value bet a 3x here, would he value bet 44-99 here so his bet range value here is Tx.. but would he check back Tx on turn.. interesting, i could see a check / call of a moderate size bet on river being more +EV than a fold but it's close). Edit 2: Also even though Solver likes to 3-bet this a large % (if not close to pure 100) 300bb deep, the difference between a call and 3-bet here is like 1/100th of a big blind and playing in a game that's bigger than you're used to / normal stakes, you don't always have to 3-bet here and as said, calling preflop here does keep your range wide open for postflop.

In the last hand with queen high flush draw. Your never getting to much better of a flop there. This is one of the boards you will almost always want to check raise with and go all in. The initial aggressor is not folding unless they were bluffing with complete air. The flip side with tan in the call is still almost always good for you as well and gets you paid. So I don't hate the flat but I think this is the best candidate for shoving on the flop

Why? One pot means nothing if you donk it all away, 4k win after being up 16k is loose play to say the least. No way this kid will ever be in the plus but maybe his content and click bait titles keep making him money to lose on the table

You did right in my opinion on the smooth call to 2100. Raising JD when he knows he has the nuts (at least on the flop) he could have shoved and put you in a bad spot to make a real tough decision.

Hi, I think check or raise on the q9 depends if you take the gto or exploit ways. The gto often takes the aggressive way but if you think exploitative live game, the check is a better play because if you raise, it often go all in when your opposants get a set, straight or two pair. In a 3 bet pot with that configuration you have almost always (99%) the worst hands on the flop. So, oop, realize your equity against that range seems the most profitable way. The GTO thinking is : when you hit the spade you will less make profit because your out ouf position. When you hit the turn you will check, wich your opposants will often do against that scary card for their range (check turn miss value). WHen they bet, they ve got more flush max than a set or a law flush than you, so your in tuf position. WHen it check back river you will bet but get few calls. Of course when you don't hit you just lost 3.5k and be push to a fold on the turn or river. At the river i don't think a all in gets more fold for 2K behind. Here is donk river is not so bad (even if he did it just because he was afraid to pay a bet not to get thinvalue :) ) but his call is really horrible what a spew. So i prefer a all in, at the opposite don't put me all in create a big red flag (so milky) beacause if you just get the As of spade and turn into a bluff you go all in or a min raise against a tight profile but you never use this size i believe. But to really answer to your question it is more simple than that. Here when JD can bet and call a river raise with straight on a flush board against 2 opposants the exploitative way is for sure the NUTS. Cheers

P.S. up-stuck is better than stuck stuck! Rolling through the swings is my rough point right now. I went on a sun run then busted back down to rebuilding all from 2 sessions of getting my brakes bad beat to the rotors. Staying with in my means and pulling the reins instead of charging forward into my seperate financial areas is a good decision and discipline though. Alot of my poker buddy's won't do that!

@jonathansykes4986 10 месяцев назад
JTo @3:00 .. definitely understand wanting to keep a VPIP high to keep being invited to the shows but if you're going to play this here, play it for a raise. Limp / calling really does turn your hand face-up to being a weak one (although you could limp 3-bet but that seems spewish..) Tan's bet on this flop is.. uh.. bad. Hits more your range than his (as we can see by you hitting a straight).. with no club in your hand and a non-zero chance than Tan has 88/99/77 or even hands like 65s here.. definitely a raise is in order. It probably doesn't matter club or not in your hand to raise.. your raise size.. so deep.. unsure, i think i prefer a 2k-2.5k raise since you're pretty polar to nuts / combos here so i'd rather go large esp since if tan is to continue to such a size, his range is going to be capped and puts him in a spot to shove / call and honestly i think his call range is more clubs / 2pairs / sets (?) and shove range is combos/straights/sets Turn.. I don't think you need to bet so big and not sure what else continues that's not going to be floats. If you get called here and a 2x river comes, what do you do? Check / call? Bet / call? Bet / fold? I'd prefer a smaller bet. Maybe even the same size you made the flop raise and make it look like you have 77/88/99/98 in your hand since your range should be all over that than Tan's.

99 @ 6:47 Not sure why you think DJ doesn't have a lot of Tx/Jx/Qx in his hand. Yes you have a lot of that in your range (along with AK/KK/AA and TT+) but DJ can easily have KQ/KJ/QJ/QT/JT here along with 98s (50% less likely). Also I hate your sizing, you're getting worse hands to fold (22-88), better hands to call, and rarely are you cleaning up equity if DJ has a hand like A5s. On this flop with your preflop range and this board, I'd size up to 650 (75%) or check and with your exact holdings, a check seems preferable here.

Look at this Crusher going from playing the $2 brown Chip game at Agua Caliente few years ago to the nosebleeds.. well-done Wolfgang.. also I just watched the video and I think you could have folded the 96 under the gun when somebody raised.. your out of position you have a s*** hand you're facing a raise just let it go..it cost you a lot of money especially calling on the river😢

@11:08 flatting flop with KQcc here is.. uh bad. Give easy calls to JJ/TT/AJ/AT/JT. Give cheap prices to As5s/AsQs/AsKs. Never puts our opponents in tough spots when we do have a semi draw here (i.e. AsQs here and putting JT/AJ is bad spots) You should definitely just flat here imo, you could be drawing stone dead against As5s/AsKs. You should get very strong hands to fold (AJ/AT) at times. Doubtful sets fold here. If we get action, we're going to be getting it bad (less than 50% equity) a large % of the time Board: Ad Js Ts Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 41.135% 40.07% 01.06% 5951 157.50 { Qs9s } Hand 1: 58.865% 57.80% 01.06% 8584 157.50 { JJ-TT, AsKs, AJs-ATs, As5s, KQs } That being said, raising flop can't be a big mistake if it is one at all in loose live stream games.
