Middle School band director here. I've never seen a more accurate depiction of what goes through an 11 year old's head when you give them a trombone than this video. And the fact that the left hand position is almost spot-on kills me.

Hot damn! For an original *_trombone_* song "Trombone Skyze" goes so hard I also love that the loading screen fun "facts" starts with basic trombone knowledge but then get less and less relevant until they're just straight up lying to you about vaguely trombone-related things 😂

All off key (and of beat) music is inherently funny. There is no easier representation of "missdirected expectation" than not getting the right tone at the right time when your entire being grooves with it. And it's one of the rare "jokes" that isn't "on anyone" if it is done on purpose. The players know better and could, it's not on the composer, it mocks NO ONE. Purest form of comedy there is. (Shoutout to Spike Jones, The Guckenheimer Sourkraut band, Portsmouth symphonia and to a degree Apollo 100)

I really appreciate how this music game ACTUALLY resembles playing music, with mistakes resulting in the notes being out of tune. It always bothered me how in games like Guitar Hero you hear that you've made a mistake (with the music going quiet or some sound cue) but you don't hear the exact mistake that you've made.

Played Trombone for over 10 years. My only advice for that might be applicable would be to move your slide double time in fast sections to avoid sounding staccato. Or as if you had half the time between the notes just to give you a small space to prepare for the coming notes.... Probably makes more sense on a trombone... Anyways, this video cracked me up tho! thank you for some fun variety :)
