Honestly Graduation as a whole is underrated. Outside of true Kanye fans, I rarely hear any talk of it, and even then it's normally overshadowed by other works
Graduation is my favorite Ye album. With like, two exceptions, every single song on it is a bop. And I like the general theming of it as being the conclusion of the trilogy started with College Dropout. TCD is about frustration with the system, LR is about working to make your own way and Graduation is about finally reaching success. It's a victory lap album and it's just so fun to listen to.
@@drdappers Facts. Funny, the album dropped months before I graduated H.S. Aside from Drunk and Hot girls, this album is so pleasing to the ear to this day, and this song along with Champion...it pains me people don't know or care about them.
Tony Williams that’s exactly how this song sounds a decade ago, like it was mixed with something other than hip hop. Ye has been before his time on many things he has done
Most seem to hate Kanye for his controversial opinions on things, but I think we can agree that the man is a musical genius. Mainly listen to his old stuff, so I dunno about the new ones.
Well said, I love he’s old stuff and I really like some of he’s newer stuff, yeah he has raised some eyebrows and said some stupid stuff but he really is like you said a genius when it comes to producing music and has a great way of making music interesting and bringing sounds and artists together to collaborate on songs, I will always have respect for Kanye as many of he’s songs helped me get through a bad mood or a bad time
U could still be who you wish you is, it ain’t happen yet and that’s where the tuition ends.. Don’t ever give up on hope little caterpillar your day as a butterfly will come. Thank you so much for this version whoever you are. I used to play this song nonstop many memories in my friends Beamer to this one. Missu Scottsdale
Lyrics: -------- Find your dreams come true And I wonder if you know What it means, what it means And I wonder if you know What it means, what it means And I wonder if you know What it means to find your dreams I've been waiting on this my whole life These dreams be waking me up at night You say I think I'm never wrong You know what, maybe you're right, aight And I wonder if you know What it means, what it means And I wonder if you know What it means to find your dreams You say he get on your fucking nerves You hope that he get what he deserves, word Do you even remember what the issue is You just trying to find where the tissue is You can still be who you wish you is It ain't happen yet And that's what the intuition is When you hop back in the car Drive back to the crib Run back to their arms The smokescreens The chokes and the screams You ever wonder what it all really mean And I wonder if you know What it means, what it means And I wonder if you know What it means to find your dreams And I'm back on my grind A psychic read my lifeline Told me in my lifetime My name would help light up the Chicago skyline And that's what I'm Seven o'clock, that's primetime Heaven'll watch, God calling from the hotlines Why he keep giving me hot lines I'm a star, how could I not shine How many ladies in the house How many ladies in the house without a spouse Something in your blouse got me feeling so aroused What you about On that independent shit Trade it all for a husband and some kids You ever wonder what it all really mean You ever wonder if you'll find your dreams
Hey Bud I miss you and all the fun we had, you won't ever see this but this song is how I feel when I wonder how things could of turned out if I wasn't so selfish. I love you
infinitely thankful that this popped up in my feed. idk how something so simple could make an already incredibly important song to me just that much more emotionally affecting and gut wrenching. so rare for me to feel this way and especially this strongly about music so thanks
It’s so interesting to hear the different versions of this song being slowed and reverbed, they’re all like slightly different but it like a whole other experience with every one
bro graduation's been hitting different since I got to college. It's my first year in a university and things are, weird to say the least. It's nice to just chill out and vibe every once and a while. Keep up the good work man.
I don’t do substances often but everytime I’m drunk, high, or tripping I play this song. It never ceases to make me cry. So beautiful and it’s exactly how I feel. Same for Childish Gambino’s Be Alone.
Someone made a Chopped & Screwed version of this track years ago and this one sounds exactly like it. Not sure if you were just mirroring that one or great minds think alike. I ain't even mad this song is just beautiful
