I think you should do a marathon video now, where the goal is to break as many rules as possible in one race, and still finish it. Looking forward to it! 😀
Here I am training for my first marathon and you make it look easy in 5 different pairs of shoes 😅 amazing work James! 🙌 Will Andy be joining you on the next one? 😉
Great video and great job on running a marathon and making it look like a part run 😂. QUESTION: I have KN500 where can I fit it in my marathon training?
Such an interesting watch and I learnt so much! Recently took the plunge and got a new pair of Saucony’s which are helping so much with training for my first half marathon, but now I just want to go out and buy more 😂
70 degrees is cold! I have to wear a sweatshirt in that kind of weather, but for running it’s like perfect. I’ve been running in 95-100 degree weather 60 miles a week and it’s tough
Never have ran a marathon, however Brooks Adrenaline or ASCIS is my go to for 5ks and now training for a 10k. Just got the new Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23 with stability support and wow it feels amazing! Definitely get a gait analysis, I got one 5/6 years ago and upgraded my very cheap trainers to Brooks which have lasted far longer.
@@runningchannel thank you! Do like Brooks although I would like to try more running shoes. It's going well, I'm actually using the Runna app from watching your video! On a returning to 5k plan at the moment and then going to continue on with a 10k training plan. Ran my first 5k today in about a year! ☺️🏃♀️ So confident I can do a 10k
I've got a pair of saucony endorphin pro 2's still sitting unused. Haven't ran any events in 10 years so I'm starting all over. Have signed up for a 5k coming up in 2 weeks. Reluctant to use them and just use my ride 14 or 15. 😂
Great that you are getting back in to running again! 😁 If the race is in 2 weeks it might be best to stick with ones that you know are comfortable and train in the endorphin pro 2's for the next race you take on 😁
I used to run only in stability shoes, then I bought Saucony Speed 2's with a nylon plate in them, it took some time to adjust to these, net stable at all, but now I use them for races because I'm faster in them.
I can't wait to try them out but yeah. I better stick with what's comfortable now. Thanks! 👍😊 (quick add) Have you all any thoughts on the shift 2's? I just used them for the 2nd time and put another 4 miles on them. They were much better this run and started to break in. No pain like the first time i used them. Haha 👍
Really interesting to see how a range of shoes is made up - from beginner to pro. Bit of a misleading title though as I was expecting 5 shoes total not 5 pairs 😂
5% would be 1 in every 20 people. I don’t think even 5% of the population would consider themselves “runners.”You might just be friends with a lot of marathon runners, haha.
3:45 Hilarious auto subtitling. I'm off to the nearest runny shop having a gay analysis done on me. I'm a little scared but as long as the outcome improves my running I'll do anything!
Don’t be mistaken: Shoes are designed for the eyes and ego; not the feet. I laugh when I hear about pronation and stability shoes, LOL. Stick a randomly, mass made shoe on your foot and think it’s anything other than destabilising is ludicrous
In a world where sustainability and environmental impact is so important is it really responsible to promote so many different types of trainers. What happened with the different shoes after the video, are they still in use? A trainer takes 1000 years to decompose and there production creates a significant CO2 footprint. We should be looking to maximise the use out of our running shoes. Can we see a video that reviews the real durability of trainers so we can see which ones really last the longest. The most sustainable pair of trainers is the one we already own
You would probably need 5 pairs from Decathalon. As good as Decathalon is, their shoes are just not up to the job. For the price there are far better alternatives.
