I never would've thought that at 44 I'd listening to bedtime stories every night just to be able to fall asleep. Haha. Thank you so very much good sir!
@@anthonyarcanumsanctumregnu9551 I can't help it must of the time. His voice just lulls me to sleep. Then I wake up and think damn it got to take it back to let thing I remember just to finish story
Yeah I wish I could get motivated to write I literally have around 45 story ideas. A majority of them I literally have fleshed out the entire plot I merely need to add in the vivid details and space fillers for duration. I just can't get motivated and have free time to finish them I really wish I could find a ghostwriter.
I guess when towns seem so utterly perfect, and flawless, it's on purpose. People try to cover up the biggest flaws by putting a flawless look to their towns to trick others. The curious ones, most-likely alike to the person in this story, always tend to uncover the secrets, and then this situation can go many different ways. Amazing narrations as always, Lighthouse Horror! You're really great at keeping this channel going! Keep up the amazing work!
@@jackdare thats nice 🙂 I wish I could say that. It's a nice enough town. I've lived here in East Texas all my life so it's definitely home. I just wish there wasn't so much crime. It gets kinda scary sometimes.
Okay I know it’s not the point but I’m here freaking out that he’s touching crime scene evidence like broooooo- if there were fingerprints ya just ruined them.
I was thinking the same (opens the strange gift box) No.. call the cops. (Narrator finds a clue) Tell the sheriff! (Notices gum box is odd) Don't touch it. Call someone. Don't open- you're bad at this.
I mean... nicely atmospheric, but what was the point of the story? Was it just some standard weird supernatural monster? What was with the power lines? What about the fingers? Did I miss them saying the fingers had been cut off when he was in the chimney? And what happened to all the Christmas stuff?
47:25 yet another reason why I take my rottweiler with me almost everywhere. Shes a sweetheart 99% of the time but shes still a rottweiler and they're intimidating dogs when they arent being total goofballs. I havent run into any serial killers (at least not that I'm aware of) but I've had a few run ins with meth addicts and drunken bums and a look from her has always been enough to keep everyone nice and polite.
@sundiverijl. Well, the way I understand it he was gone for almost a year and he must have lost his Beene When he got traumatized, finding a human items in the gum boxes.. so that creepy guy knew exactly when he was back and that he would go back and probably remembers where his bike was.. So creepy guy make sure that his cap is freshly washed
Since I've been working the nightshift for the past 3 months, I've been listening every night. I swear I've went through over 100 of your narrations. I go down your list of videos one by one. I've gotten pretty far down through the list and I'm not close to being finished. Honestly, I hope I never get to the end, even though I know I will eventually. That thought saddens me honestly. Just as everyone else has posted numerous times before, I look forward to listening to your narrations. You're my favorite to listen to and it makes my nights not as boring or quiet. Keep being awesome, LH! ❤
I listened intently to the story…. Im pretty quick to figure out a mystery…BUT…IM SORRY, I DID NOT UNDERSTAND IT! I know the boy was murdered? But what!!! a confusing , and non information story
Green-witch lmao. That’s how I said it, too, until I was corrected… brings back so many memories of my short stint living in NYC as a traveling nurse. Good times. It’s more like “Grennich”, though.
dangit! I'm going to get so much shit for pronouncing that wrong. The last word I said wrong was "foliage" and 17 years later I'm still getting comments about that lol... 🙁
@@LighthouseHorror lol. I would think most people would have a good sense of humor about it. Now, if you have a bunch of New Yorkers listening, you’re in for trouble. I got my ass chewed on that particular word, which is why it’s funny to me.
@@LighthouseHorror I was born in Green-witch village...I take no offense. I also find it amusing how people mispronounce Leroy St and Houston St. I even heard a tourist ask someone where the Hell's Kitchen restaurant is....Hell's Kitchen is an area in Manhattan not a restaurant.
There's 4 creepypasta narrators I listen to.. you are one of them. You have quickly gone up in ranks for me. Your narrations are perfect and I absolutely love. I can't wait for the day you become RU-vids #1 Narrator.
Setups like the one in this story make me wonder if it's just the natural result of Redditors writing self-inserts or if I'm _supposed_ to hate the protagonist.
This story is honestly depressing to hear, the guy wanted to do right by the truth but nothing he did was successful. No one wanted to care about the truth, and honestly the source of the problem was pretty terrifying. I don't blame the person trying to fix things, as always I blame that broken system in which even the police are part of the cover-up. I would avoid a town where nothing bad happens, because that sounds like a recipe for the town from Hot Fuzz. Thank you, this narration was an absolute delight!
??? I don't know that I listened to the same story as you? I don't think I heard anything here talking about a cover-up of any sort. Or of this guy trying to get the word out and failing cuz no one "wanted" to care?
Your narrations are always so captivating, in that sitting by the campfire on a very dark night type of way. It's safe to say I'm addicted, at this point. Please keep up the great work! 💚
Pssst: It's called the " LIGHTHOUSE HORROR EFFECT".....^^ It almost never fails. 🤷♀️ Severe side effect : prolonged procastination and running into things being glued to your phone. NOT SAFE TO WATCH IN HEAVY TRAFFIC if you also are glued to the visuals....^^ 🙃
You guys wanna join my addiction group? Lighthouse horror anonymous, we have meetings nightly after the new shows end. Your only allowed to attend once you've reached true addiction and already watched every story he's posted at least once 😜🤣🤣
This reminded me so much of the town I grew up in. Loved it! Btw... I have finally consumed every video you have on your channel. It saddens me and also makes me look forward to your new posts each night. I must have more!
BTW: PLEASE TAKE A BREAK ANYTIME YOU NEED ! You don't owe us anything, even less daily uploads, at least xx minutes! You don't even have ads ! WHO does this anymore ? If you break down no one will gain anything! I have to look up the time difference, but I already wish you a *Happy New Year!* 🎉✨💫🍾🍕🌮🥃
@@LighthouseHorror No thank YOU for giving so many of us something to look forward to - especially after /during so many in / in fear of / a new lockdown....
Love how at 9:55pm I was waiting for the story to post all excited to try and be a first commenter when my 4 yr old decided to bring a box of her Christmas Legos and hassled me until I started building a princess castle with her, now 3 hours later I check my phone and realize I deff didn't make it in time 😅🤣 Good thing you post daily so I can keep trying 👍😭
A truly chilling tale of terror by remyfink, narrated in perfection by Lighthouse Horror! Makes me glad I don't walk alone or chew gum very often. Extremely well done. Thank you both very much!!
@@LighthouseHorror Very Happy New Year to you, Stephen!! I am so thankful for you. Your videos have been and continue to be a bright spot in my day and year! I’m sorry I don’t comment on every video but please know I’m listening and enjoying every one! Looking forward to a better year for everyone and you’re a huge part of that. Thank you!
Took almoat 20min of (excellent) back story, but DAUUM!! Another great & original stort! Thanks LH♡ (I still live in a town where I don't even lock my car at work...)
Just waking up to this post. Hoping the channel gets even bigger next year, you are very talented and are consistent with the quality of stories you put out. Love from Nairobi. 👋🏿
This is such a treat! I was literally _just_ scrolling through some longer Lighthouse Horror stories. I had just put on "The World's Highest Paid Janitor" and I decided to just look at LH's main page and just saw this new story. I tried listening to other narrator's and I couldn't do it... I could say so much about how they just do _not_ stand up to LH, not in any way. Thank you for existing, LH, I don't know who or what I would listen to just to relax and enjoy the night listening with my wife. We really love your work, this channel. It's the *best* out there, 100%! Have a great night everyone!
@@gothgirl4evr782 I really love those as well. It's hard for me to choose a favorite because they're all so good. I really love all his long narrations. There's so many shorter ones that I really love and wish for those to become a series. LH does a big favor for all narrators. ☺️
Agreed. Just look at his different playlists, there are some 3, 4, 5 hour - and I think even one longer compilations! But some short ones are really, really excellent as well ! The " An ancient being walks the streets on Halloween" - or a similar title - is one of my all time favourites. Or " The house that death forgot" ! And pretty much everything from Verastahl imho. I have a Favourite LHH playlist , but it's getting too long, I myself can't find one in particular if I look for it ....🤦
I highly recommend Dark Somnium, he’s my absolute favourite narrator. I’ve listened to just about all of his videos, so had to come searching for a new channel lol. And LH has quickly become a close second for me
Getting used 2 the new schedule of my lighthouse flash! The tales have been showcasing the GREAT EMOTION, DICTION, & WAY OF GIVING LIFE TO EACH CHARACTER that hooked me to to @Lighthouse Horror in the beginning! That enjoyable, unrushed , narration that seems to only come from someone who really enjoys what they do story that they are bringing to life., It's been rough when u get used to everyday. , BUT ITS BEEN GREAT W THE CHANGE AND YOUR BRINGING THE FIRE!! HAPPY NEW YEAR STEPHEN AND THANK YOU FOR THIS LAST YEAR OF HARD WORK THAT MAKES THE DAYS BETTER FOR SO MANY PEOPLE!! DONT BURN YOURSELF OUT AND ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU STILL LOVE WHAT YOU DO !! Best of luck with 22!!
Wow almost 50 minutes?! WHAT A GREAT NEW YEARS GIFT ! That makes up for the totally shitty Christmas and all the errands and phone calls, dealing with various authorities that made a mistake and blamed me for not renewing my ( non existing) income (despite them at last admitting they hadn't sent me that letter at all) that almost cost me my insurance for January - or rather set my monthly bill from 110 to 465 € ! I need meds daily and are in the middle of dental treatment and severely underweight! I again lost almost 2 lbs running around one day in 0 °C..... THANK YOU FOR SAVING SYLVESTER MORNING!
Dang dude, I sat through 90% of this waiting for an incredibly cringy and banal ending. And it didn't happen! This one was actually good! You're full of surprises.
Darn it LH stop being such an awesome narrator and reading such great stories, I need to go to sleep! 🤪. Oh crap, maybe King Creole has his hold on me and won't let me stop listening!
Ever since first reading the story whenever I see those gum containers it would make me think of it and it's so much better listening to you read it great job!!
Imagine describing something awful that happened to your child, and saying "we came down stairs hoping to find him sitting criss-cross apple sauced but..." 😂
Reminds me of the puzzle solving geo cacher story. I think creepsmcpasta covered it on his channel, it's about a man that gets sent a series of scavenger hunt tasks and it gets dark 😂
boy i sure did start hollerin' in fright when the scary gum chewing man cleaned that guy's hat. what a goofy story. so what was this secret supposed to be? everyone knows that kid got murdered: a bunch of people watched the crime scene while getting drunk in the rain, so they know, and the news ran a story about it, presumably, so everyone with a tv knows about it. is it specifically that the stinky man in the woods did it? why are the police so desperate to protect that guy? maybe the idea's that a killer on the lose would worry people but, like, the people know that kid didn't accidentally chop off his own head into a christmas present. and why'd that silly, stinky man steal all the family's presents?
“The weather was warm for Christmas Day, hovering in the mid forties.” LOL! I only wish that counted as warm at Christmas where I live. It was 72 degrees Fahrenheit on Christmas Day in 2021.
I am sure that you have heard it many times before. But if I could write my life as a story I would have wanted you to read it. You make the horrors sound calming, don't you!!!
If I came downstairs onto a scene like that; I wouldn't take the last step off the staircase: I'd preserve the crime-scene, call for my kid without stepping on evidence, go back upstairs and phone cops for a crime-scene-investigator to collect finger-prints, shoe-prints, fibers, and neighboring door-bell-camera footage: the box would be preserved with any evidence on it, not to mention never seeing the contents or having memory of doing so, just go back upstairs.
Lead someone following you, away from home: if you run out of breath you'll be unable to fight back, so get ready to crouch all the way down like a trash-bag as soon as you round a corner; when you do find an obstruction out of eye line, instantly tuck close to the edge and floor to ambush him, use every dirty trick: dirt-in-eyes, bludgeon-balls, ass-stab, ear-slap, consider them defensive wounds.
I don’t know when I started using horror/scary themed stories to put me to sleep.. maybe 5-6 years ago. But dammit if it’s drops me so fast! Thank you, and thanks to and all narrators like you ❤️
Im going through the list to catch up on all the stories. Thank you normally I read books but I enjoy listening to your stories. Just found your channel a month ago but I'm a sucriber for 😊
I love it 😬 I grew up listening to show's on my grandfather old radio 📻 Back in the 70's we sat on the floor and would not make a noise 🙄Or we had to leave our grandpa's room 😬 But it was in Spanish 😬So it was twice as scary 😨 But you guys are so lucky 😬I wish our aguellito' was still alive 😬He would have loved it 🌌✨🙏
Am I just jaded or something? I'm pretty sure a severed finger wouldn't make me gag or freak out. Just call the cops. Or maybe I've just been through more than most people.
I know i have said this before but i am finding myself keeping the tv off so i can listen to your stories. Way more interesting and fun. Your the best Thank you thank you 😊
