Even the 1 year old OnePlus Open is a better phone with more power. Just wait for Honor Magic V3 next month... Don't buy a phone that locks 2GB of RAM just for AI use.
Bigger battery, faster charging, better chip, and I'm sorry to have to tell you this but better cameras and pictures from what I've seen. I'll keep my OnePlus open. All you're doing is buying AI 🤣
Iam so keen to buy the pixel 9 pro fold. The only thing holding me back is the move from ios. Been using ios phone for ever. What is your point on do the move? Ios to android? More info about the battery would be nice.
I like Android much more than iOS. I started with the iPhone 1 and was loyal to Apple until the iPhone 12. If you are not totally dissatisfied with Apple, I can only advise you to stay with Apple. You are changing the entire ecosystem and everything that goes with it. In "my" case, it was an expensive affair, but it was worth it. Good Luck!
I’ve been using iOS and android for a while, and I think the only thing that should hold you back is if you own other Apple devices, like an Apple Watch, that requires an iPhone. Android is more than capable
They making the weak ass xqz why the latest camera is not in the phone is crazy also why the green isn't as bright as the regular, So they take out these features to and them later and say the phone is better, In my opinion ppl shouldn't be buying a 1800 phone and companies short changing them..

I’d buy it if that helps you at all, I really like the aspect ratio of the front, oled looks beautiful, build is beautiful, camera is always gorgeous/fun and if you use google mail, maps or anything else. You’ll see how much better they work on google products, pixel is better than Apple in my opinion. I just use Apple currently because I don’t have the money yet for the pro fold , I like to buy phones outright
I'm trading my galaxy fold 4 for the pixel because I like the outer display. If the galaxy had the same size as the pixel I would have stayed with the galaxy. I don't care about games our picture quality.
It would be hard to trust the durability of the fold being on the 2nd generation. Especially paying that much for it. I would rather buy a Samsung Fold as it's their 6th generation. I would rethink google on their 4th generation minimum.
Z fold 6 has a lot going for it. S-Pen support is great to have for a larger display and one ui with Dex is underrated. But if I had to choose between those two, I would go with Pixel 9 pro. I like the form factor better, I prefer the pixel software experience and camera, and the inner display is larger. But you can’t go wrong with either one
I pre-purchased a Pixel 9 pro fold, now I have a Z fold 5 and it's very small, the external screen is not nice, I think the Pixel 9 pro fold has everything I wanted in a foldable phone 👍
I’m surprised that Samsung hasn’t made the internal screen larger, like Google did with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold this year. Usually Samsung is quick to put the largest screen possible
I have Z fold4 and the hinge already broke the second time. First time I had to pay 700Euro for repairs, now I will simply never again buy their phone.
@@_sky_3123 The inner screen on my ZF4, and Samsung replaced it. I have Samsung Care+. I'm trading in my ZF4 when the S25U is released. Foldables, and flips are just too fragile.
My only complaints with my Pixel Fold are the weight and it not unfolding completely flat. Moving to a more square-ish internal screen with larger black bars on the top and bottom for landscape content is a step backwards. Google and Reviewers saying this aspect ratio makes more sense, but I'm betting it was purely as a cost-optimizing move. Now they can run production using the same OLED panel for all Pixel 9 phones instead of a separate, dedicated panel for the passport form factor.
You honestly make a good point. I can totally see google changing the aspect ratio just to utilize the same display panels on the Pixel 9 for cost optimization.
They should have developed an iMessage equivalent from the start that was part of the OS. I know Google Meets was a decent attempt but they never made it the default texting app & gave people the option to use anything, thus the confusing fragmentation in Android - you basically have multiple messaging apps and you have to second guess which one somebody is using. But this is coming from an iPhone user 😂

No... the purpose of an OS is to provide a platform for apps to run on. No app should be a "part" of an OS. Windows and Mac actually get this very wrong, where the UI interface is tied to OS updates. The UI shell should be a completely separate and swappable piece of software, like it is on Linux. As for iMessage, everyone in the world would have a better experience if Apple accepted and implemented the new standards Google is proposing for enhanced text communication. Then any app could easily comminicate with each other using the enhanced standard features, while providing consumer choice.
