My dude, I have reconnected with Hip Hop in a way I couldn't thanks to your reaction and breakdown. I have always been a huge Lupe fan, but couldn't find anyone relatable within the same generation. Sure you got Em, Kanye, and Wheezy that ruled around that time, but years ago, your real philosophical artist was not getting that airplay. Don't get me wrong, I have a vast selection of music ranging from Haitian Kompas to Heavy Metal. It's finding someone who can relate lyrically is my thing.
