i mean.... the album was the follow up to the critical/commercial smash hit all things must pass. and while living in the material world wasn't AS successful, it still sold an awful lot back in 1973. point is, a lotta ppl have heard it. i'd agree tho that it's a lesser known deep cut and an underrated one at that. cheers!

First time I heard this.. Unbelievable, I asked a young girl a little while ago what she was listening to and she said George Harrison from the Beatles All Things Must Pass.. This guy is somehow reaching a whole new generation. Transcending the Beatles. A voice of a misguided disturbed and directionless generation.

I once worked with the Cult (one night only in Preston, UK). Let me tell you that Ian Astbury is such an interesting and spiritual guy. He expresses it in this song. Thanks Ian for a great night "all those years ago".
