The big difference between him and Connor is that Ian comes off as arrogant where Connor came off his playful and funny which endeared him to fans. This guy is pushing us away
@@OffTopic-f3n right but that was Conors second half. The first half, which is how he won us over, he was playful and he was original and funny, great timing. He was a cool dude. Then he went dark and lost most of us
ian garry genuinely being his own biggest fan is hilarious i just watched bro glaze himself and talk about how entertaining and wonderful his own performance was for 18 minutes
Ian Garry has lost a load of fans during this fight. His arrogance easily outweighs his intelligence. Did he really think people were gonna side with him over Magny, with what Magny said? Magny said hardly anything yet this guy is still running with it. Ian Garry looks pathetic for this. Taking the moral high ground as a cuck is never a smart move.
@jeehyeshin9398 Like he gives a fuck lmao. You can like him or hate him, he is still going to run through the division. It doesn't matter if people pay to see him win or pay because they want to see him lose, he still gets paid. Also, in the UK and Ireland almost everyone will agree with what he said. Hitting your kids is a bitch move.
@@jeehyeshin9398The fact you just said "cuck" completely delegitimizes anything you're stating. Did you even read your comment over before you posted it?
Garry took a piece of what Magny said and ran with it, going wayyy overboard. Magny was talking about disciplining Garry like he does his kids. Garry proved him wrong big time but leave it at that. Don’t bash the man as a father, he didn’t mean it as Garry says at all.
Idk part of me feels like Neil took it so personally because it must be somewhat true. Like if it wasn’t true at all, why would he get so emotional about it? Also seeing how he was acting emotional in the fight, it’s clear that Ian struck a nerve.
@@nickgivens6378 That's all people value. Finishes. Dude beat up a top 15 ranked fighter for 3 rounds but that gets undermined because "he couldn't finish him". If this was literally anybody else, this would be fine but nah 😂😂
@@drunkenmmamaster419 yup, they probably sent him to the naughty corner instead, i can be the lack of an assbeating also contributed to him marrying a single mum, taking on her bastard child, and her last name..
Haha, I’m from the U.K. and feel the same. I’ve watched the UFC for 20 years and never fast forwarded anyone’s interviews or post fight speeches until this guy.
Considering how impressive his performance was, it's really a shame to witness such a disgusting behavior, and the fact that all those clowns in the arena were booing Magny just adds insult to injury. Magny and Sterling did not deserve the treatment they received.
I CANT believe they let him get away with painting a narrative about Neil 🤦🏿♂️🙄it’s actually disgusting, took his words literally and dragging it out to make him look like a abusive father THIS IS LOW…wet wipe for that!
I see it differently that you. In a court of law what Ian said would not be deemed as slander. He interpreted what Magny said (he is educated Magny's own words) textually.
@@ziongite Raping women, punching old men at a bar, assaulting people on a bus, assaulting NBA mascots? Neil is a choir boy compared to Conor McGregor.
McGregor does drugs, been accused of sexually abusing women, cheats on his wife and punched an old man, he’s a bellend and that’s coming from an Irish person. And his fans are even bigger bellends
Garry is good at fighting, and that's it. His attack on Magney is unwarranted and makes no f'ing sense. His pre fight press conference rant was utter cringe.
@@maxtrapout669he’s not wrong Ian attacking Magny as a father was a joke he took a figure of speech that mangy said and made it out to be something it wasn’t
@@dreamybull1509 you must be a gen z Kids getting spanked is normal in alot of parts of the country and the world Hell even in other countries people discipline their kids severely So a spank on the butt or hand is light
Ian beating a dead horse tryna make Magny out to be the bad guy, his lack of self awareness is incredible, his mother should sit him down and explain how life works, or maybe his wife...
He is a 25 year old undefeated MMA fighter in the UFC who will be making a lot of money soon and is potentially a future champ. His life is fine. How is yours ? 😂
For real. He's pushing more and more of us away. Like this s*** isn't endearing or cool or funny. He's just comes off as super arrogant and a giant douche
So wait hes mad at Magny for talking bout discipline towards children yet his Idol is Conor? Pick a side. Also it was impressive from him in terms of his performance but...Shavkat finished Magny so easily. And I think the other 170s would be a problem for Garry.
This dude needs to stop telling people how to raise their kids. I think he says this to hide that he took his wifes husbands name for a child thats not yours
Magny is not a scumbag! He's a fighter passed his prime that took the fight on short notice. Garry should thank him for taking the fight. Garry is the latest manufactured clown by the UFC. Any college wrestler would wreck him. He's the Jake Paul of MMA.
Ian is becoming more and more arrogant and annoying. The difference between him and Conor is that Conor had charm and that cheekiness. While Ian has none of than Sean O’Malley is more like Conor than Ian is.
What's the issue with using his wifes name? Just curious. People seem oddly upset over this for no other reason than the fact that they're insecure little boys.
This difference between him and Conor is their attitude compared to where they were at in their careers. Conor didn't start speaking like this until after he beat Aldo. Before that he said that he had the belief that he could beat anyone and that he believed that everything he says will come true but there was no smiling or bragging in the beginning unless he was being playful it was all serious business. He wanted you to know that he was serious. In his early career he would talk smack and say he believed he was the best but he didn't come off as arrogant. And even with Conor some people did think he was being arrogant but those were just the people who have never been good enough at anything to truly believe in themselves. Most people loved it. This guy has beaten no one of note and he's already talking and acting like he'd walk into Dana's office and put his feet up on the desk. Or like he's already got a yacht parked in Ibiza. This isn't healthy belief in one's self. I hope it's an act but if he really walks around like this the path ahead is going to be hard.
@@pierer91 Show me one interview pre-diaz/aldo where he's smiling and smug while he's talking about how good he is and not joking. You won't find one. This guy acts extremely proud of himself before he has done anything.
Tbh I hope its NOT an act, because then at least he would have an excuse. If he actually thinks acting like this going to make him more popular, he is delusional.
@@stephenhughes5156 I mean we're talking about him so it is making him more popular. I didn't know anything about him or care about his fight until he acted this way. So if he's just going for popularity it's working. But it's not making him well-liked. He's going to have to keep winning in order to stay relevant. People that the crowd don't like can be relevant and stay relevant but when they begin to lose people very quickly tune out and forget about them and that's where it backfires. Someone people love, Nate Diaz for example, can lose and people still care to watch and still hope for a win. It's a bold strategy let's see if it works out for him.
Gary is a great fighter and everything but he was making such a huge deal about Neil Magny and disciplining a child joke. It was really not that bad at all. All Neil Magny was trying to say it was that he was going to whoop him like he was his son or something. Seems like Gary is just chasing clout here..
I would bet Magny's children are much more respectful and well brought up compared to cucky Garry's. Its like O'Malley giving relationship advice. Garry needs to fix his own house before trying to fix others.
I mean we like entertainment but he's not entertainment when he talks. We are all scratching our heads like "how is he reaching so hard over a figure of speech"
I mean we have seen plenty of times when fans dont like the fighter how it affects the financials for that fighter so yeah I think it is relevant@@ku______
Conor called Dustin jolies wife just because she worked with him lol imagine how bad he would hurt this guys feelings. You have your wife’s name and an ankle tat lol
@DefendingTheTruh don't forget that other man is now Ian Garry's nutritionist, guaranteed they're still banging behind closed doors while spending this fools money 😂
"I am not cocky, I am confident in my preparation and skills and I am humble in victory or defeat" - Prime Conor McGregor. You say he's your idol, why don't you act like him bro? Btw that vid with Marlon Vera is the most sus thing I've ever seen in my life and at least those are actually Magny's kids 😂
Conor was really humble against khabib and Dustin. Prime Conor fought khabib. First of all, who cares if ur humble in victory after u talk the shit conor talks and beat someone saying “it was a good fight” doesn’t take away what u said. I would rather you stick to ur guns then fake humbleness
Neil didnt deserve that. Everyone parents differently but he doesn't abuse his kids just cause he spanks them if he felt like they needed it for discipline. Hes not an abuser tho
Ian Garry is from a Irish carnival family, he spent his youth working fun fares and as he grew as a teen he would fight and bully local children going to the fair.
Bro is carrying on like a baby, dude needs to take life and comments a bit leas seriously, if I was neil magny in the press conference I wldve told ian “machado” I’d put a beating on his son as well 😂
Still talking about Magny... smh what a PO S. Magny even still clapped for his win. Trying to paint Neil as some father who beats his children, was just disgusting and childish. This is the real world Garry, kids catch a little parental "whooping" every now and then. Get over it, Neil made a joke...
Y'all are talking shit cuz of his confidence in himself. He believes in himself and isnt afraid to talk about it. He probably has the best self talk and is successful because of it. Mental warfare is half the battle. The other half being the physical skillset. Say what you want but the kid is good and he knows it. Until someone sets him straight he will not be humble. Hes green to the UFC but I'm telling you that his confidence is acceptable. Jealousy and being offended when you arent getting in that octagon and defending your life you better believe in yourself man or youre dead.
He literally dug himself a grave, it's a shame since he had all this "potential". If he is wise enough one day, he's gonna look back and regret everything he's been doing recently. Hopefully life teaches him an important and humbling lesson.
757 likes to 1.7k dislikes. This guy is like the rich kid in every school that bullies the smaller kids for no reason and things he's a G because of it.
