Whilst Ian Van Dahl may be a guilty pleasure or turn off for some of us, I’ve always found there to be a good number of remixes of Christophe Chantzis tracks under this alias that hit the mark.

Alphazone were really on another level. They perfected hard trance.

Not a fan of this one, personally. The vocal was far too cheesy for my tastes. However, what I do love is there's a proper euphoria with older trance. It was all about the build up and then the drop. Unlike today where typically there's some average build up and the drop is just straight into a kick drum for 32 bars, for some reason. Absolute gash.

The money you will have spent for so many vinyls. I admire you and I think I'm not the only one.

Alphazone and their hard trance remixes were always a huge banger! When I was first introduced to hard trance, I always thought Alphazone was a true iconic god In hardtrance! I do have a few track of his, but I will never give any of my records until the day I die! Keep the trance generation alive! X)

I think it was the summer of '03 and I had ripped DJ Kristoff's Hard Sessions 3 set down off of DI radio to take along on a trip to Florida with my buddy. He closed that killer set out with this tune and I never forgot it. 20 years is a long time but those memories are with me for life, that's the power of trance music. Anytime you had a set going and an Alphazone track dropped, you knew immediately what you were in for. Great stuff.

I played this stuff for years, only recently it struck me- how the frick does a scratch in a piece of plastic produce these tunes- the melody, the voices, the layers, beats etc, from a scratch in a bit of plastic... I've looked at some pictures of vinyl grooves under electron microscope but I still can't get my head around it, it seems impossible.
