👍👍👍👍👍je me retrouve à Treichville dans les années 75/80…. Ambiance de folie avec le grand, le puissant, l indomptable Fela. Il aurait été si utile de nos jours…. Lagos, Accra, Abidjan…. L avenir de l Afrique est dans vos veines…… Un enfant du pays exilé au Gondwana😜 vous salue.

Woah. Just found this video after listening to Newen Afrobeat for the 100th time. I'll have to check this excellent band out some more. I have no idea who these guys are but I'm going to find out! It was nice to hear The Souljazz Orchestra's song Mr. President! Love that song.

Wonderful. I loved every minute. This is the first time I have listened to this group. Very funky. Fantastic combination of jazz, blues, electronic and Afrobeat. Great bass guitar and backbeat, plus, plus. All good. Excellent musicians and very engaging personality of lead singer. I would love to see this group live. Tune out - and get with it. I have recommended this group to many of my friends around the world. I come from Australia.

Fela Kuti is often regarded as the musical godfather of today’s Afrobeats. It was Fela Kuti’s fusion of traditional Nigerian and Ghanian music, jazz, funk, and Caribbean musical styles that became popularized as Afrobeat, not to be confused with the more modern Afrobeats (with an s). Certes ça ne vaut pas Fela, mais ça fait du bien... Par contre le light est trop agressif et nuit auu concert... Il y a debon musicos, mais on ne les voit pas... Dommage !

Merci pour ce retour. Le multicaméra est monté en direct, et il y a assez peu de personnel. C'est la même personne qui mixe le concert et qui fait le multicaméra en direct. C'est pour cela qu'il y a quelques ratés au début. Mais par la suite, ça va mieux.
