Hello, im interested in applying for an apprenticeship, but may be too old, 32. What is the differance between a fitter and a mechanic? Im not sure what role would suite me if any. I enjoy taking things apart and fixing them/learning how they work. I service my own car, have done breaks and injectors on a few cars, and did a few bits on a vintage motorcycle such as brake slave and master cylinders, clutch, and stator motor. I have no problems with abit of oil and dirt. Thank you in advance for any information.
