No one teaches like you just want to get rid of the subject...hatts of to you sir kaash you were my Financial reporting teacher in physical class so that we would learnt more from you...but if became a teacher i wanted to be just like you...who know how to teach students...today teacher tuff....dont like them...daffar wants to get rid of a subject...

A company offered a VSS scheme to its employees on 15 December,2023 with last date to submit the acceptance of scheme on 2nd Jan, 2024 and made the VSS payment on 31January, 2024 before board meeting. Would it be a adjusting event at year end 31st December, 2023?

sir you said, that dividends are proposed after seeing the RE and cash available by the BOD , then dividends are proposed after the year end technicaly as per your statement . treatment is same no entry ( no adjustment)

Hi Guys, Please help me to get right answer: Each of the following events occurred after the reporting date of 31 March 2015, but before the financial statements were authorised for issue. Which would be treated as a NON-adjusting event under IAS 10 Events After the Reporting Period? A A public announcement in April 2015 of a formal plan to discontinue an operation which had been approved by the board in February 2015 B The settlement of an insurance claim for a loss sustained in December 2014 C Evidence that $20,000 of goods which were listed as part of the inventory in the statement of financial position as at 31 March 2015 had been stolen D A sale of goods in April 2015 which had been held in inventory at 31 March 2015. The sale was made at a price below its carrying amount at 31 March 2015

i have a question, AGM is conducted when financial statements are layed that is after year end. and dividends are declared at AGM. so how before year end dividend can by declared
