Hey, thank you very much for these videos. I have a question to ask. Natural sciences are not my strongest suit, to say the least. I am having a hard time understanding many topics in Bio (especially this one), It's just as if I don't see the bigger picture, you know, I cannot put the knowledge into context; it's pretty difficult to explain, Bio just sounds like a foreign language. Hence, I always have this feeling and no matter how hard I study, I can't shake it. Can you perhaps share some tips/advice on how to study properly/actually understand the syllabus? It's pretty depressing, when you can't "get" it, and you kinda know, but you don't "know" it, if it makes sense. Thanks a lot, anyway.
I know it's hard, but try not to get frustrated. I was the same way learning a lot of this (it didn't come easy to me, and I am still learning). The best thing is repetition when studying for memorization and drawing your own connections for the larger concepts for the big ideas. Biology is very conceptual and everything is connected in a larger picture. As an exercise you should try and pick two random subtopics within the IB curriculum and see if you can connect them somehow. Feel free to email me and I can help you out! elec2riclearningyt@gmail.com
Thanks so much for these videos! I have a biology test about topic 2.1 to 2.5 in a few hours lmao what I hate about school biology is that it says that saturated fats are unhealthy, when in reality they are healthier than some unsaturated fats such as vegetable oil lol
@@Elec2ricLearning bruh the test was postponed to next week because there was a fire drill LMAO at least I have more revision time after math test btw I thought vegetable oil is cis fat or is it trans fat
