hi i am doing ib in november 2023, and i can feel the pressure etc, what is the best study methods especially for the subejcts like chem and mathematics SL which are the most difficult? Congrats on Ib
I would say just doing practice questions you can find online. That and trying teaching it to another student or friend. Try to figure how what type of learning sticks with you. Like visuals, writing etc.
Yoooooo I am doing IB next year in a public high school in my country (Spain), which means I have to do International Baccalaurette+Spanish Baccalaurette at the same time, wish me luck Congrats btw! What will you do next year?
I am starting IB soon for my freshman year of highschool. How stressful is it. I want to become a bro footballer(soccer player) and need education as a back up. I considet myself smart scoribg a 98 for math in grade 8 and getting 90+ on most subjects. I just want to know if its possible to manage.
You definitely need to learn time management because the work load is very rigorous! While dealing with the homework, find ways to balance it out with hobbies or social activities. Your writing mostly has to be analytical and have substance! If you want more advice I did make a video that includes IB advice as well! Here it is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4LNAxD9NhH0.html
Omg. I’d be actually pretty proud of myself so congrats (I know it’s a little late)! What were you scores like in the beginning? And what kind of advice would you give other IB Students? cause i definitely did not have the best start to my IB but I want to try and stay hopeful about it:p
I honestly don't know what my scores were like in the beginning because my school wasn't allowed to tell us our predicted lol. But a big tip is to take care of your physical health because it puts you in a better headspace. Plus knowing your type of learning is incredibly helpful. The score doesn't truly matter unless it is needed for college. There is no pressure, as long as you get the degree, you should be proud of that amazing accomplishment! I don't regret the IB program because it has made my transition to college work so much easier.
I’m gonna be honest. The only exam I truly studied for was biology. Everything else was just following the review of what my teachers gave me. I was so burnt out but I don’t remember how much in hours.
There’s no need to spread hate here she got the diploma anyway and should be proud of it bc IB is a really hard program. 💀 your comment is literally the most useless
