Personally I have to disagree, because she wanted to become a normal girl, but at the same time she turned homicidal the moment she was met with something besides friendliness. It shows that while she wants to be normal, the bloodthirsty traits of being a painting is stronger :,)

@@starlosa I think it’s less of her being a painting, and more of the soul-crushing loneliness that is being the ONLY piece of art that’s practically a full on human. The other artworks are practically feral animals compared to her! The painted ladies can only giggle and hiss and the other artworks can’t talk like proper humans that much either. Don’t forget the fact she’s been stuck wandering the same halls of the gallery for all her life, so she got cabin fever. Of course she went crazy! She lived with artworks that couldn’t teachher how to behave like a proper human being! Doesn’t excuse what she did, but I think that’s why she’s crazy. 😅

@@reicho3034 my personal theory is that Guertena sold his soul to have his deceased daughter, brought back after painting a portrait of her, but things got twisted and it ended up giving life to all of his creations and transporting him to the cursed gallery. When you are able to talk to Mary after Garry finds out that she's not real, she says that at some point she lost sight of her dad, that he disappeared and she can't seem to find him anywhere. Which means they lived together inside that world for a while, although is not clear if he died or became something else. And his spirit is still lingering on the dimension, he was the one louring Ib at the beginning so Mary could have a friend and Garry needed to be the sacrifice

@@starlosa The bloodthirst from her does not come from being a paiting, it comes from wanting to be alive and it sadly needs to in the expense of another

i found a fanmade ending called sacrifice where ib pushes garry and mary to the portal and stays inside guertena

that would have been so cool, i actually love this ending.

theres never gonna be one, in order for mary to leave there needs to be someone to sacrifice for her to pass thru, remember she wants gary to stay as her replacement to allow her to leave, there is either they all stay stuck in the painting or someone has to be left behind for the others to leave

you need to break everything, see the hanged ib paiting with him, see the hanged garry message in the gray area, then fail the doll room. After that you should be able to get those endings by choosing the option "...Garry?" after failling the doll room. Note: you will get "welcome to the world of guertena" if you have a good relatioship with mary and "Paiting's Demise" if you doesn't

You need to raise your bond with garry throughout the game, there are a lot of little things you need to do

@@Gamelong866 is there any updated guides? I've tried twice with my friend and every time our bond isn't high enough with Gary
