After that week's broadcast, everything changed to commercial broadcasting. -IBA licensing successors eventually remerged as Ofcom; -IBA Engineering is out, in came Aquiva; -Channel 3 franchises became owned by one company (North and Central Scotland still locally-owned), thanks to blind auctions and takeover clauses of the 1990 Broadcasting Act, with UTV falling to ITV plc hands around mid-2010s; -Commercial radio mostly branded by certain national brands.

I have my volume on full and I'm still struggling to hear the audio

There are several huge spikes in volume where the audio 'pops' (my sound system did not take kindly to any of them), so I suspect if the volume is being normalised, those far louder pops will make the rest of the audio very quiet.

The audio could be cleaned up with a pop / click removal tool, before normalising. Shame as the episode is almost unwatchable with the pop / clicks & low volume. Otherwise a great channel / resource of these episodes from back in the day.
