I found the carpet head on my V8 unsuitable for my lino floors, as the lino is sucked up to the nozzle and the airflow is cut off, not to mention the noise the brushroll makes against the lino which I am certain does it no good, so the fluffy head is vital if you have lino thats not stuck down, well, it is in my case anyway. For hardwood, laminate and other floors that are stuck down, the carpet head can be used on them, with the black bristles being the ones that dust the floor.
you sir are correct dyson has this thing about actually paying attention to things that consumers say like how something isnt working right and actually do something about it
iBaisaic you can’t swap the brushrolls on the minimotorized tool due to the V8 brushroll have a spiral hole in the end and the V7/V6 have a more flower like hole ind the end😅 Btw love your videos and demonstrations and i’ve waitet for the V8 video for a long time😊
When my 6 year old DC35 quit last month I picked up a V8 on Friday, was the same price as the V7, and it works pretty good the only thing I don’t like is my attachments from the DC35 doesn’t fit the V8.
I must ask, what speed internet connection do you have at home? Is it a DSL or a fibre to the home connection? The reason I inquire is I can't imagine how you are able to upload HD videos every day unless it's fairly speedy :P. I've got a 1000/1000 fibre connection here from a company called AT&T so things upload within minutes.
Can i ask, which retailer are you referring to that accepts refunds even after using the product? Only asking because it is something i would be keen to try and a very good idea when investing in something as expensive as a vacuum! Thanks
@@emilypowell1405 The definition of a "full house" can vary from a small 1 bedroom council house to a multi million pound mansion. I'm sure it would be fairly easy to give a small house a quick once over on the lowest setting, but if you wanted to clean a £3m mansion you would have to stop to charge the battery several times.
There are plenty of items on my wishlist for people to choose from and I am grateful for whatever they decide to buy me, it doesn’t matter if it’s only a cheap gift.
No thank you sir Dyson! I think Mr. Dyson doesn't reduce the price due to all the unit returns? I did a shoot out between a V10 and my Miele ha ha! Write back to Best Buy buddy thanks Roger… Keith
It has to be said you are a complete idiot if you buy a Dyson now. The quality is absolutely awful. Drop it once and bits fly off all over the place. Don't be fooled by fancy advertising, the quality of build is very poor. Good video as always though buddy
The V10 does have a motorized head. I have found my V10 works better than any mains vacuum I have owned which include many Hoover uprights from the 80's and 90's, Oreck, Roombas, Neatos and a Dyson Big Ball Multifloor (when it comes to above floor cleaning). Most people that claim it can't replace a mains vacuum haven't actually used one for any length of time.
