really agree about that “ngayap” part , a lot of young Iban fellas out there have misconceptions about “ngayap” including me . Thank you for sharing this to us , letting us know more about our culture .

Kena muka sereta nutup randau can be acceptable but not tak baka ke often besadung sepanjai jurai ke dipejalaike. It doesnt give a good reflection towards the Dayak Iban community.

I'm sorry you feel that way but I think that's all perspectives. For some, it's completely fine. And obviously for u, it's not. For me, I think what we did was discuss an important issue and share that with the world while celebrating and enjoying our traditional drink, tuak at a reasonable rate. We weren't flailing around drunk and we have crews to help monitor us during the shoot and had regular breaks having plain water every 20 minutes which you don't see because we edited it. I think the benefit we give out to the people sharing all this knowledge far outweighs whatever assumed negative perception you think we give off. But that's okay, I can accept a difference in opinion between us, and we can leave it agree to disagree but what I don't accept is forcing ur values on others. But thanks for viewing!😊

I never saw westerners finish a bottle of whisky. Unless for an alcoholic person. It's a bad habit. There are many other issues that can benefit the Dayaks. Work for the future. Don't waste time talking about the past.
