I played one of these guitars 3 days ago for the first time. It's the first time I've played any ibanez guitar before. It felt amazing and made me rethink the epi 339 I bought about 4 months ago.

I just recently purchased one of these and i can say without a doubt, was the best investment ive made with buying a new guitar. This guitar can pretty much handle anything thrown at it and the earthly tones it produces

I have this guitar for a few weeks now and i love it so much. It plays and sounds great. If you are thinking of buying this guitar then you really should. Its worth the money And it indeed is a versatile instrument. I just love it!

This is my favorite semi hollow body guitar ever. The look, the tone, the feel, everything about it is perfect to me. Ibanez always makes quality stuff but this is definitely my favorite guitar they've ever made.

Super guitar for lil`money. I have it and I really like it. I am an Indie/Alternative Rock guitarist (also some Jazz and Blues and Noise). Beginner/advanced level. I play the guitar with a Yamaha Line6 Spider V30 Amp and I am very happy with this set up.

I almost purchased one of these years ago. I couldn't get past the color. I remember the days when ibanez had plenty of cool colors. Especially the metallic sparkle colors. Some of the colors but not like the past.

When I saw this guitar in long & mcquades I loved the crap out of it and thought it was going to be expensive.. it was sitting next to a $1300 gretsch lol once I picked it up I really couldn’t put it down lol been playing it ever since with all upgraded hardware 🤤

As a rock / hard rock lover, but also a total beginner, can it be considered a decent guitar to start learning the instrument? I know it wouldn't be a common choice, but is it more difficult to play (and study) comparing to a more "basic" and "classic" cheap electric guitar? I know cost-wise it doesn't make sense to buy this one at the beginning, but I love both sound and esthetic. Thank you so much to whom it will provide a feedback on this :)

Why wouldn’t this make sense “cost wise” for a beginner? $250-300 is a perfect starting price for a beginner guitar.

got one of these last month...needed a complete set up due to bow in neck sharp fret edges and mid neck buzzing....also selector switch is already loose and wiggly....the neck dimensions are way chunkier than I expected as I also have an Ibanez acoustic-electric and that neck is much slimmer than this one..all in all am wondering if i'll keep it....but heck it was only $300.....

I don`t think so. It`s not a high-gain guitar. Don`t buy a Hollow just because it looks good. Did you see any Punk band playing a Hollow? (Green Day is not a punk band).

@@martinsprenz2872 if it's got humbuckers you can do what you want with it, lot of metal bands use semi hollows, Ola englund has a video of him playing all kinds of metal on this exact guitar and I can already think of a punk band off the top of my head called birds in row that uses a semi hollow Rickenbacker I guarantee if you Google punk bands semi hollow you'll get a ton of results Also this has the same exact pickups as the gio model rg guitars which are literally metal and heavy rock focused, these are pretty high output for the price Fully hollow wouldn't be any good but a ton of people use semi hollows for heavier, high gain music

I’m sorry Caleb followill uses a gibson Es 325 that costs about £3000+. Why buy one when you can buy this in tobacco flat that costs £2-300 and sounds exactly the same

Did you find it yet??? Ibanez have factories in indonesia, so they should have it there. Might be under a different name. Try Ibanez Artcore AS53.

The size the AM53 is a smaller body like a es339 by epiphone but the AS53 is a wider body like a 335 In short, one is wider then the other

I played both and get the Ibanez. Sounds better, looks better, is not so heavy and my fingers just prefer the Ibanez...

i baught this guitar. its arriving soon :p. It is an hollow body guitar so it can also be played acousticly but not as loud as an normal acoustic guitar.

Better of buying a guitar with a tremolo system built in like a strat or a gretch with a bigsby, by the sounds of what your saying mate is stay away from tremolos for now lol
