Thank God for Gary Willis, who shows us how to be great bass players. Without him we wouldn't be able to learn by seeing how it's done.

Really great! Sometimes I (and many people) get sooo bored with "fusion", mainly these days because much of it it's so homogeneus and 80's driven (Admit it!)... But this here is really refreshing and cool! Cheers Gary!

THE OLDER GARY GETS THE BETTER HE PLAYS…

I'm a big fan of Gary's but I don't like his sound here at all. He usually has a fatter midrangy sound. This sounds like the mids are gone and it's just highs and bass. I don't know if it's a bad miking job, but not a a fan of this sound.

Gary is a better and more schooled player than Jaco!
