Vogg is a great metal guitarist and I really like his work. But he's not nearly the best guitarist ever. His Solo's lack any type of soul. They don't inspire any emotion. A great guitar solo will make you shed tears.
Vogg needs far more exposure than what he's gotten over the years. He's been VERY unlucky in his career due to what's happened within Decapitated over the years. I hope he's able to regain his footing again and rise to the top.
Vogg, been watching and listening to him for years and the guy reminds me of Dime in a way he has deep emotion in his playing abilities and just cool ass guy! Only guitarist i know that plays as two guitarist! Go Decap! 2022
Well his biggest influence is Dime, so it goes without saying he represents Dimes approach. Decapitated as a whole has always had the Pantera approach. Back when there were talks of a Pantera reunion they were talking about Zakk playing for Dime, I was outraged! There are only two choices for that job, Vogg or Wes Hauch... period! That being said, I would love to see a musical project with Wes and Vogg, it would be beautifully brutal... they are both Dime devotees with such perfectly complimentary styles and tastes.
@@CoreyjGrieveMy thoughts exactly. I had the same two names in mind plus Attila Voros. Vogg/Hauch would be the ultimate guitar duo. It has to happen!!
So, in Ibanez corner no-one was capable of changing one string to Voggs guitar while he was playing other guitar. Pathetic! Tell me if i'm wrong but...very sad :(
In this video it clearly shows he plays with a goddamn backing track which is the same as if a singer was miming vocals. I suspected he did this when i watched a live video of Homosum and heard two guitars going with only him on stage. So, definitely not the best guitarist ever and questionable if hes even a good live guitarist at this point. You break a string and the solo continues? I would sound great if you played Cowboys from Hell over the sound of my amp while i was pretending to play like Dimebag.
