Ibanez RG350EX - Boss Harmonist PS-6 

Really, the PS-6 is a great pedal!!!

You have to really know your scales though, or else the PS6 will expose you! Sick playing this man, love those harmonic dive bombs with this pedal

So is that the harmonist pedal mostly having that effect ? Or does the chorus have much to do with that. I'm torn between the super chorus and the harmonist pedal lol, great song man

Hi Trevor, thanks for your comment! When I bought this RG, it already came with the mirrored pickguard and the chrome knobs, but I think you can find it easily on ebay.

You bought a great pedal. I believe that soon you will learn to configure it well. To use it in Iron Maiden riff, try this: - Balance: 50% - Shift: 3rd - Fall Time: E (Key) - Mode: minor

Thanks for your comment, glad you liked it! The setting of the chorus is very flat, all knobs at 50%. I always use chorus after PS-6. First Power Stack, PS-6, Chorus and Dd-3.

¡Hola Felipe! Si abres toda la distorsión, sí, es un pedal con mucho ruido, como la mayoría de los pedales de High Gain. Utilizo la ganancia al 75%, no hace demasiado ruido. Cuando estoy tocando, el ruido no se nota. Independientemente, sigo pensando que este pedal es la mejor distorsión de Boss.

No uso ningún ecualizador en las grabaciones, sin embargo, uso el Marshall AVT 20, que tiene salida para Headphone. Esta salida de audio, que es estéreo, la conecto a la entrada de audio de la computadora, sin usar una interfaz de audio, Marshall termina haciendo el papel de la interfaz de audio. Yes, I changed the pick guard. I replaced the original with a mirrored one, then replaced it again with a pearlescent white pick guard.

Sebastian Villanueva Hola! Antes de comprar esta guitarra también oído hablar mal de este puente, pero como se vio en el vídeo, que no desafina fácilmente. El único cambio que hice el puente fue el intercambio de muelles, puso muelles Gotoh, ayudó a hacer el puente más estable. Son baratos y fáciles de reemplazar. Es una buena guitarra !!

@@MorningNoonandNight I just used the Marshall AVT 20 (clean channel). All distortion is from the Boss Power Stack, I also used the Boss CH-1 very light and the Boss DD-3, giving a slight delay. The Boss PS-6 for the harmonies. Pickup Seymour Duncan JB also helped. The set of this equipment made me achieve this sound.

It is the position that is the (SHIFT) knob, of the pedal PS-6. Using the (SHIFT) knob, you select the pitch for the harmonies. In this case, I'm doubling the third (3rd) in harmony.
