I remember this throwback since 1994. Nanonood ako ng ABS-CBN 2, ABC 5, GMA 7, RPN 9 at IBC 13 noong bata ako sa 90s.

Naiyak ako nung mapanuod ko ulit to 😥 eto ung pinakamasayang parte ng buhay ko.. Nung bata ako.. Andito pa lahat mga kamag anak , kaibigan, ang hirap maging adult 😥😥

inip na inip ako dito noong bata pa ako.. pero ngayon pinakikinggan ko ng paulit ulit.

One of the longest running TV station ID

until now, wala pa ko makita katapat na station id nito when it comes to artistic representation of the Filipino culture. Big thanx sa gumawa nito. When i told my students to watch it, they like it so much.

I grew up with tv in 2000's but this one has a heart rather than today's tv station ids.

For the new IBC 13 station ID composed and performed by Grace Nono was aired and released back in 1992 before started the program!

@pcvirushater: Yes, this was shot in 35mm film. It was then transferred to and edited in D2. My copy which is part of my demo reel is in Mini DV through my XL-1. I don't know what you mean by "pwede pa ito for HD". This is my first upload to RU-vid and I just followed their instructions for uploading. I guess you mean I could transfer the original footages into HD? But I no longer have access to the original. This was aired in 1994. Thanks for appreciating.

This station ID stored lots of childhood memories during mid 90's. This was released in summer 94. So when I got back to school, most of my classmates were singing this particular song "Narito narito" then mimicking the rest of the lyrics. You encrypted all the cultural heritage to the best of your abilities in 3:25 mins. Kudos Surf!

This station id came out in 1996 when IBC 13 went on Nationwide Satellite Broadcast. It was also the year the PBA games moved to 13 which boosted their ratings, especially when they entered into a blocktime agreement with Vintage Enterprises / VTV.

@pcvirushater Yes, I had a Production Company doing ads. Except for the rainbow effect in the "batis" scene, CGI was limited to the end where only the flying salakot was 3D (the other Filipino culture symbols were in 2D because of budget limitations. I farmed out the CGI portion to Dodge Ledesma, who now heads Digital Dodge). Paradoxically, this 2-million-peso ad beat the ABS-CBN station ID, a full CGI of their sari-manok icon, which was rumored to have cost about 28 million!

I feel so nostalgic watching this... It was simple pero nililibot ako nito sa buong Pilipinas... ^_^

Napaka-ganda po ng concept sir surf.. talagang may kurot sa puso at pinoy ang dating.. natatandaan ko pa, after PBA games kasunod na agad ito... kahanga-hangang sining.. mula sa singer Grace Nono, hanggang sa production, direction at visuals talagang maganda sya para sa akin... :-)

3:16 They reference the vinta right there...that was IBC's identity during the 70's; known as the Vinta Network and this was also the name of the color television technology when they launched the station in color.
