Palpable excitement. That’s what happen when intellectual and business driven people meet in the same room. AUSCI is honored to host students from USC IBEAR-46, TAMBA/SAMBA scholarship finalists, and USC alumni in Jakarta. Our alums passionately share their experience and business wisdoms while the students are eager to learn about what makes our economy ticks. Our international guests are pleasantly surprised to learn that Indonesia is one of the bastions for the Trojan network in Asia Pacific with ever growing memberships and tight-knit communities.
The evening also belongs to the AUSCI TAMBA & SAMBA scholarship. AUSCI, on behalf of the donors, formalize the initiative to send more talented Indonesians to the USC IBEAR MBA program where they will be immersed with the academic rigor and the international network that the school have to offer. Upon completing the one-year program, they will return and apply what they have learned to further our country’s growth and prosperity. In its inaugural year, the program has been warmly received. Our scholarship committee has selected the top six candidates to be interviewed by the IBEAR Director in person. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for personal interaction and candor, which will serve them well on their future path.
