I appreciated your review a great deal. Like you, I'm will be flying Iberia business class in March using points and it will be my first time flying premium over the Atlantic (I've flown First Class domestically, but not internationally). As such, I value your reasonable expectation of the experience. It seems that some reviewers are of the mindset of "they didn't massage my feet, so the experience was terrible!" Perhaps my standards are too low and I may well be singing a different tune after my flight, but I'm glad to hear someone of similar presumption giving it a seal of approval. Fingers crossed!
I flew on Iberia Business Class on the A350 from Santiago to Madrid in January. The meal selection was poor and the flight attendants were even worse. Loo's locked so they didn't have to clean them. The ignorant attendant told me someone was using it, having told him that he/she had been in there a very long time, decided to unlock it. The same guy spent most of the meal service coughing without covering his mouth and on the odd occasion coughed up all over the clean plates without a care in the world. Didn't see anything of the flight attendants until meal service prior to landing. However the seat itself was really good, even the flight attandants could not get that wrong. Would I fly Iberia by choice NEVER.
