No one cares about intraeuropean Business Class, it's all the same throughout any network airline. I think you misunderstood something here, what people hate is Iberias Intercontinental Business Class.
@@theRealJohnnyG. The only thing that long and short haul share is the lounge. The catering and everything else is vastly different. The staff is the same btw, they rotate between positions on every other flight. If you would like to have just that experience, it is IMO way cheaper to buy yourself a fast pass and a ticket to any lounge.
Iberia has a problem, same experience here, pilot had four five friends moved up to business class. He had them enter the cockpit. We also sat on row one with a glass divider basically sitting across the flight attendant watching her on here mobile for the full flight. Not attending to the passengers. Iberia is broke staff and flight crew are corrupt and an embarresment.
Thank you very mucv fpr sharing. It's always difficult to review an airline nased on a single flight but your experience shows me that my experience is not an isolated incident...
I flew Iberia Business Class from Boston to Madrid and back, and I was very pleased. Not sure why people dislike it. Food was great and plentiful, the pod was very comfortable.
Domestic airlines always seem to treat domestic passengers poorly. When they fly international that seems to change. Perhaps it is bigger aircraft provide more opportunities for better service and seating or perhaps there is an unspoken competition among all airlines on long haul routes.
Great video! I'll echo your sentiments on Iberia's crew - in my experience, they are usually the worst aspect of flying with them in business. The lounges, food and (long haul) seating is actually great and usually good value. But the crew often treat you like an afterthought at best and an inconvenience at worst!
You have to try Iberia's LONG HAUL business class, it's actually really good. Been flying with them for a year now due to work issues and I've never had a bad experience, especially on the A350. Food is superb, crew is nice (nothing extraordinary tho) and the seat is amazing, primarily the suite on the newest aircrafts. It's very comfortable and private. European business class is all the same on every airline, same in Air France, Lufthansa, ITA, British, Swiss, Austrian, KLM and Iberia.
@@theRealJohnnyG. They sometimes offer such segment at around EUR50 one way. Also if you use the manage booking tool (a day before departure or so), they might offer an upgrade into business class at around EUR 60. But if you take it, keep the upgrade payment confirmation as their system might not amend it automatically.
Well, to begin with, this video's content is quite misleading. It's a regular short-haul flight and, we all know that differences between Economy/Business class (in terms of seating, food, airport services, etc.) for short-haul flights are reduced to the minimum, on every airline. But, whatever. Also, Iberia's lounge at LEMD is really top-notch. I flew Business for a LEMD-SAEZ trip and, zero complaints. Cabin is spacious and state-of-the-art, food quality outstanding and crew truly kind. Honestly, those commenting on Iberia's "bad" reputation clearly have not flown with them recently 🤷🏻♂️
Usually a bit of xenophobia. Anglosaxons can cope with the fact that it’s much better than BA and most American airlines. 14th best airline in 2023 according to SkyTrax. Food in business is amazing, cabin seems pretty similar to the Emirates one. Crews are incredible. Nobody serves hot breakfast for a 45 minutes flights in business like Iberia
Hey fly Dan air, its a romanian airline but its new has uh better landings than tarom and 9ffers free food and drinks i think idk, i think they changed tho i flrew whit them earlier this year
I had booked an Air Serbia flight that was scheduled to be operated by Dan Air I think. Unfortunately it was changed last minute. But I sure would like to try flying with them again. Another reason to go back to Romania hahahah
Thanks! & yes, exactly. The lounge and the possibility to skip the lane at security were great. However, for the flight experience the premium wasn't worth it imo.
If you´ve flown a bit around Europe, Iberia´s Business product is ceratinly one of the best. Catering is the best. The lounge in Madrid is awesome. Planes are usually spotless and there is a curtain between business and coach. This video seems to be maliciously fabricated
Thank you for your comment. I can assure you that there was no malicious intent. As you can see in the video on my flight there was no real curtain between economy an Business. But I agree that the Iberia Lounge is great.
Very mediocre airline. Staff unmotivated and lacking interest in their jobs. Avoid at all cost, they should be expelled from OneWorld alliance , not worthy.
