Hi! Thanks for watching! You and the hubs will enjoy it! I can't remember the exact amount for the dinner, I believe it was $120 per person and we had a coupon that came with our package that brought it down to $80 per person. The flowers and the champagne and the room set up was all courtesy of our Butler who was just so awesome! We didn't even know he'd set that up until we got back to our room after dinner! He really helped to make our experience what it was. Our Butler's name was Benzine, not sure if you can ask for a room that he is assigned to.

Ohhhh congratulations on 16 years, that’s so great 🥰🥰🥰. You will love the resort. I think it’s preference but we had the same butler for the entire week and we chose to tip at the end of our stay. I also overheard another couple tipping on their last day as well.
How did tipping for at this resort? Tipping after each service or drink? How about the Butler? Knowing how it works there would be really helpful. Thanks!
Personally, we tipped after each service (bartender, waiter/waitress, luggage handler, etc.). We tipped our housekeeper and butler per day but gave it to them all at once at the end of the trip.
This looks awesome. Is there an extra charge for the anniversary dinner on the beach? Are the dinner reservations and lunch reservations hard to get, I have read some complaints about those. Also what is the tipping culture like for service and your butler?
Hi, thank you! Yes there was an extra charge. The package we booked came with a discount for it so I believe we paid around $120. As far as the restaurants we didn’t have any issues. We may not have gotten our preferred time but we were able to try all the ones we wanted to even if we had to accept a later reservation. Our Butler booked all of our reservations on our first day including our anniversary dinner. He was awesome. As far as tipping, we tipped per service at the time that it occurred. We tipped our Butler and also the sweet lady who cleaned our room for the week at the end of our stay.
Enjoy! We were originally supposed to go for our honeymoon as well but had to postpone it due to the pandemic. We were glad to finally be able to enjoy some vacation time. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.
The sister properties are neighboring and they are all connected but still separated. If you stay at the Grand you get a wristband that allows you to move freely through all three properties, but if you stay at one of the sister properties you don’t have access to the Grand. The Grand has its own pools, beach access, and restaurants, the other two do as well. But they do share some amenities like the spa and the gym. The Grand is adults only so we never saw kids. I think the only time I did see families was when I went to the gym and the gym overlooked one of the pool playground areas of the sister properties.
In my opinion, it was more Chill. There were some events on the Beach, Music, DJ, Dancing etc., but even those tended to wind down around Midnight. It didn't seem as party heavy as some of the resorts I looked at before I booked. Me and my husband had decided at least this time we wanted more chill/relaxing instead of partying. But there are so many resorts in Jamaica it seems there's something for everyone no matter what you're looking for.
It was an extra fee. Hmmmnnn trying to remember, I think it was $120 a person but they gave us resort coupons when we checked in that knocked the price down $40 a person. So about $80 dollars each. Don't quote me but that's a rough estimate. Might have been a little less. If you go and it's something you want to do book it on your first day because they only take a few couples a night.
Yes the Iberostar Grand is the adults only property. However, the sister properties Iberostar Rosehall Suites and Iberostar Rosehall Beaches both allow kids. If you stay at the Grand you have access to all 3 properties.
