Looks like a nice kit Simon. The IBG kits are very good on detail and seem to have common components between kits which is why I think that there are so many sprues in this kit. There were a lot of common components in the Chevy trucks and other vehicles (Engines, Suspension, Wheels etc...) of WWII to make repair and resupply easier and IBG follow that ethos in their kits, so some sprues are used in several different kits. This is good as it means there are lots of bits left over for the spares box LOL. I have almost finished the C15TA (95% built) and will paint and put up final video this week, all being well. I took most of a day off from taking the tablets to complete the build, but didn't quite finish it all. I think that it will not have been my best work and I struggled on a couple of areas with the way I was feeling, but it was nice to get some modelling done again and I will get it completed this week for sure. I'm finding that all the chassis Are the same. They just remoulding the back half But they are really good on detail I am looking forward to the finish of your build as I know put blood, sweat and tears into it And I know that it's put you under a bit of pressure which I Apologise for So hope fully once is completed you can relax a little bit more So many thanks Joe the doing a fantastic job on your build and producing some brilliant videos, especially considering the pain You were in At the time So many thanks again Joe Look at your self And don't keep doing what you're doing. Great review,my friend! Strangely I was just looking at converting an Italari 15cwt to one of those ! LOL! I was wondering if it was worth the effort or should I buy one of those kits. Something you didn't mention was that this kit has a Number 12 cab and the Italari kit has the Number 13 cab. There's a number of combination of stowage boxes and the jerrycan racks. Is this an early or late version? Does it have two complete load beds? I asked because I've never seen a photo of any kind of top frame except for the straight ones. But I've never seen any pictures from England or Wales or OK I forgot where you said they were from. I can't wait to see you building this one ! I've got a couple of ICM kits and there all like Dragon with a ton of leftovers for your parts box. I've got the Ford long bed truck and it has almost a complete second kit of the short bed or Maultier version. Everything but the front fenders, wheels,and cab! Complete engine, load bed and chassis with running gear. How does this compare ?
To be totally honest with you. This is the first IBG kit that doesn't have the 12 and 13 cab Included All the other Chevrolets IBG do They all got the option of the 12 x 13 cab, Sadly, I won't be building this one. This one goes out for a build review , but I think I might take ICM kits by the sound of it. They Second pretty good And had a look it doesn't say if it's early or late version only hands one loading bed in the kit I can't understand a lot of it is the bulk of the writing is in Polish which I'm afraid to say I have a very hard job reading.
