First went to San Antonio when I was 18, ( 40 years ago ) I remember a bar called the Piano bar? Went back last year in October, and although it was quieter, still loved it. Such a beautiful island. Thanks for the video, brings back all the memories.
Wow Kevin, out of all your vlogs, that walk up that street has unearthed some deep & distant memories. If i remember right, the green coloured pub on the corner was Joe Spoons, to the left of where you met the DJ guy. I remember tables & chairs outside on the corner & there was a big guy who looked like a red indian who used to play music there. He played elec guitar & saxophone along to backing tracks & had a portable mic attached to them so he could sing & play outside in the street among the crowds. Always played ‘Baker Street’ when he’d had a few beers! 😆😆 There were some great bars along there but i’m going back to late 90s/early 2000s & its all a happy blur! Thanks for sharing. Not gonna sleep now! 😆
@@ScotsmaninTenerife Yea i reckon so. I was there in August time a few yrs back & didn’t go partying up there but i did see it was busy! That stretch can tell a few stories I reckon - give Veronicas a run for its money 😁
Stayed Hotel Apollo first time in July 1982, last visited Ibiza 4 years ago, 9 times a year in Tenerife now, in Puerto Colon Club apartments this very moment 👍

All very Blur for me two Kev, it was my first lads holiday and flew on my 17th birthday in July 1989 how my parents let me go for two weeks I’ll never know but it was life changing and I still visit Ibiza to this day. I remember Joe spoons, Golden gate, gorms garage, and maybe an acid house bar called ozone ? The club we used as we didn’t have much money was the Star Club the site where Eden sits next door to Es Paradis all very vague Kevin. We stayed at hotel Es Plas which is still going strong.
Love ibiza Kevin we stayed in sirenis seaview country club for years until the village destroyed the price and stopped us going. Used to love walking all the way around to San Antonio to the West end but early and home early but loved the memories so cheers again. Joe spoons is now shenanigans
