Georgi was also on antibiotics and he wasn't up to par although maybe that was mostly the messed up leg. I remember when Monster Michael Todd and Jerry Cadorette got pneumonia they were also on heavy antibiotics and lost those matches around that time. Looks like a trend to me but what do I know.

Being on atibiotics definitely affects your performance when it comes to training, not to mention being sick and not being able to prepare how it was intended. The shoulder over the center was pretty ridiculous, for a presser that is an insane advantage and it also pissed me off to watch and refs not calling it. It wasnt even a flash pin from him, so why wouldnt they have seen it? Not sure The adaptation throughout the rounds shows how much of an Elite level you are. And the 3rd round showed that, I was screaming at the screen on that 3rd round, insane pull. Definitely would be nice to see a rematch, you have all the tools to beat him. Great video, that's the kind of rematch and story we need before a rematch. My point is that at the end of the day he won and took advantage of the rules/referees so was smarter but for a rematch that's the kind of thing i want to hear it's legit enough to expect a war on the table. Get that story on the fix please make sure community remembers

Great video, I agree 100%. I was there and the event was amazing. You will get back stronger. Fair points with crippled refing. The best solution would be to put some simple line-laser above the table that would show the center line. If armwrestler would go past it we would see it on his shoulder on camera. Easy to implement and efficient.

EVW reffs really let go some fouls that are game changers like shoulder across the table , elbow fouls and some false starts

1) you need to raise this issue with Engin, Sagov had the same problems in AMC 2) if it's allowed, have one of your assistants to stand right behind the table and if they see the shoulder violation - then immediately raise the issue and ask for camera check.

I have been saying for years that we need 3 or even 4 refs with specific things they watch for if we want to stop getting these types of matches. So many people call me stupid for saying this but I know I am right and nice to hear you thinking similarly. There are other things that can be done with cameras and sensors if you don't want extra refs on stage. I am with you though. There needs to be better solution.

Next match should be Sandris vs the 🐐 John Brzenk that would be an awesome match tough for both.

The same thing actually happend round 1 Devon vs Levan. The head reff called it, thats the reason the match stopped but the second reff made a different call and dominated the head reff. There are indeed still things that aren't being called. I understand reffing is very difficult but indeed maybe a third reff is needed because making your own calls is good ofcourse but you cant focus on everything.

happened to me aswel in a match, the guy was all the way on my side of the table with his shoulder to the point his forearm was paralel with the table lol, refs watching only elbows nevermind the center either way. sucks but its all done now.

you are right none of the "shoulder over the centre of table" infractions got called and there were many, Levan vs Devon round 1 the shoulder was wayy on Devon's side, you vs Ibragim pretty much all rounds he crossed the centre, Michael todd vs Lamparelli shoulder over the centre everytime even tho that was the cleanest out of all the shoulder presses we saw

Sandris, you know what you need - back pressure, wrist and riser. Look at Georgy Dzeranov's type of wrestle. He is good enough with sportsmen as Sagov, Jerry Cadorette etc. Also, Gasparini's wrestle is good against Sagov's type.

I couldn't arm wrestling after going through all that but you are much younger than I am that makes a huge difference. You must take a lot of potassium and eat bananas like crazy for cramps

Press will be same problem as kings move ...every presser gets away with the shoulders positions on the start or shoulder over center in the match...look at jerrys matches kamils matches etc...i am presser aswell but rules should be rules and it should be more strict...

Knowdest the issue with the shoulder over center when watching the match. Seems like the refs did not pay much attention to shoulder position through the entire event. Anyways, well fought. Also the lead up to the fight seems far from optimal, actually pretty horrible. Next time, champ!

A third ref is meaningless if he's as bad as the two that are already there. One thing that stands out in armwrestling is how unprofessional the officiating is . . . It's like there are suggestions more than rules because what's called and what isn't called is so wildly inconsistent.

Pressing in general doesn’t seem to get as strictly refereed as the other moves in the sport, seen a lot of pressers (Sagov, Rino, Kamil, Jerry even Devon when he come forward) get away with favourable positions in matches

Shoulder in the start position is a thing that pisses me off. More and more athletes are focusing on the press . Its kinda becoming a new trend. And with rerfs not interfering when athletes have they shoulders behind the hand even before they say "go" ...common ...that shit is ridicules. Stricter shoulder position before the go NEED to be implemented ! Just check Kamil :O :O This is even worse then full blown kings move below the table 🤣🤣 Congrats anyway for the match . If they declare that everything will be according WAF rules, why they don’t read this during the match especially: 8.1.3 Competitor’s shoulder must not cross the “centerline” between pegs during competition. This will be a FOUL. So you have won Andris! 😅

Ill remind u after every loss, you have to start taking the professional juices if u wanna be on top, u will heal faster, get stronger, recover better etc etc. You can't train like rest of the pros and have permanently injured body and think you will have results. But it all depends on how far u re willing to go in this sport, if u prefer staying natty, have children, longevity and overall healthy lifestyle, this is better but armwrestling is too filled with mutants now.

You tried your best. Hard to go against the pressers who commit their frame like Sagov, Kamil etc. like Devon said. I think being aggressive from the start to take them off position is the key to beat them. I don't think defensive style is good against pressers. Regarding the cough and dehydration, it is pretty common with antibiotics. I always prefer not to take them even if I have flu. Natural ways work better.
