The trouble with Africans is their tendency to sit on the fence and radiate cynicism and put their hope and trust in foreigners to come and do the work and shoulder the responsibilities that we the Africans should do. Our lack of a sense of self-worth and self-respect make it so that Africans do not trust their fellow African not an inch, but they are ready to trust and believe anything a foreigner tells them, even when they can see that it is rubbish or dishonest.
